I'm voting for much ado about nothing

Well, I just received a phone call from Team NorCal's stand-ins. They are at the beer garden. I now owe each member of the crew $5 and a round of beers for singing Kum By Ya (almost in tune), but although the bet ended there, they also sang Michael Row the Boat Ashore for good measure, and started a rendition of another ditty that they need to work up as a round so I can owe them more money I'll never pay. I'm awaiting that phone call as I type. Thank god for California meets. They are never boring.

Nope. It's called the NorCal 6/28/2008 Impressions thread. Since the lame NorCal boys can't even post up pics of Justin's birthday party on Friday, no clever titles for them. Team Florida, however, is doing an admirable job of filling in while Team Cali shirks its duty. I haven't even received a single drunken phone call from Al or John yet. Clearly, something is amiss or, at least, very wrong.

Did you think about possible answers to your question before you asked? If you know about both the O2/KGSS and quad 11L active speakers, my guess is that you've been around audio or, at least, audio forums long enough to know the obvious answers.

Thrice, that's a great picture. Today is too early to tell what the heck I've done since I've only just woken up, but yesterday I started my new position at a job I've worked at for 8 1/2 years. It was a nice day, though rather than easing me in, as I'd expected, I inherited a semi-full caseload, and picked up my first new patient. Spent the day making phone calls and doing group; the rest of the day was spent navigating the DSM for specifics re documentation. Fun. Reminds me way too much of lesson planning and documentation, but with different stuff. The day flew by. I need to get a watch.

As some of you already know, we, here in the East, have decided to hold our own meet on the 28th. Agile_one, NightWoundsTime, tyrion, HighLife, crappyjones, and, hopefully, I will be at Gene's on Sat. and Sun. Will we have the gear you have? No. Will our meet be filled with eager head-fiers, trying out the newest and bestest? Nope. Will will care? Highly unlikely. Will will interrupt your meet as often as possible with stray and repetitive phone calls and increasingly obnoxious posts in your impressions threads?

I liked the 701s a lot, but only out of a couple pretty intense rigs. I can't see investing in this headphone at all unless planning on spending mucho to build a system around them, but if that were an option, I'd rather build a system around so many other headphones first.
