And now what did you do TODAY?
Enjoy your celebrating wherever you are! I went to spinning class this morning, then spent the rest of the day cleaning, even moving all the furniture around and mopping. Sitting back now, it doesn't look like I've done a thing. Oh well.

What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Then you probably won't like this one. It has a very distinct flavor, which in the website's words is "extremely acidic tanin-like." I wouldn't want this day in and day out, but I like it a lot.

What are you drinking now, pt 2.
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, which is sorta running with Bali Kintamana for second place as a fav coffee, which is still way behind the Indian Mysore, which I wish Old Bisbee Roasters would bring back.

So the no drinking thing didn't exactly work out? I'm drinking water. I'm exciting that way.

Congrats Knuckles and Mike. Very cool about your son. I know you were waiting on this news.

2011 Telluride Bluegrass Festival
Something I'd love to attend. Since I'm trying to save money and vacation days for my big trip, it's unlikely this year, but I'm going to keep it in the back of my mind. You never know. I could win the lotto.

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Shelly, they just discontinued that color, saying the last of the indigo is being used in some tri-stars. I think I'm going to order a sidekick in the indigo, just because it's such a great color.

Coffee Grinders
Whatever Al has at Mayberry, don't get that. It was annoyingly slow, though I suppose it ground the coffee just fine.

%#*&^%*&%^ wallpaper
When I got my place, 80% was covered in silver foil wallpaper with a Japanese cherry blossom theme. I spent many miserable hours using Zep, a perforator thing and a scraper, and did just enough damage to have to spend many more miserable hours resurfacing the walls before I could paint them. I wished I'd used a steamer, but didn't know better at the time.

Happy birthday VPI!
Happy birthday, Jeff! I hope you had a great day.

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
While waiting in line for bathroom, one of the flight attendants admired my Little Swift bag and the indigo kit peaking out of it, and wanted to know where I got it. Ended up showing her and two other intersted flight attendants my Tri-star and Mike's Aeronaut and ID. Realized I'd become a bag geek, and Bihn fangirl.

And now what did you do TODAY?
That is a great opening line for something (book, movie, book being made into a movie, somesuch....) Yes.

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
I have the kit in indigo. It is gorgeous.

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Mike, I might be interested in the medium padded pouch, but I'd need to see it. I have the small right now, which I like to dump my iPod and pico slim in my purse.

You packed already?

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
Bundle wrapping is the way to go, though I recommend doing two bundles, stacking them one on top of the other, with the first one containing most everything, and the second, just one complete change of clothing, the ones you want to wear first after arriving, even if that's just your sleep clothing. Otherwise, it's a real pain to find that one sweater or whatever when you're tired and don't want to deal with the whole bag. Right now, my understanding is that Red Oxx will be shipping the HC bags individually to folks, though I've sent an email to confirm. If that's not the deal, I, quite frankly, am not willing to deal with shipping out larger bags to everyone getting one, so we'll see.

Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
So my Little Swift arrived today, which I quite like. It came with one of those stuff sacks, pictured above, in it, and though I get these things were designed for knitting and yarn, I won't be using it and see no practical purpose. It's an annoying size and takes up the whole bottom of the bag. Otherwise, this is a perfect size bag for me, and the ipad slides right on in.
