I would think that a transformer sized similarly to a beta22 would be sufficient. For my 2-ch Dynahi, I used a SumR 2x30V 120VA transformer, which would be overkill for a balanced Dynahi. I think 80VA is normally about what Amb recommends for a balanced b22? EDIT: I don't have any problem with inrush current on this, but am using a single sigma22 with it, which starts up slowly. YMMV depending on what you are using for PSU(s).

Rented an appliance dolly and with the help of my two sons, tried to move a huge ass old side by side refrigerator from the basement to the garage. Tried being the key word. The basement stairs go straight into a wall with only 3' clearance, right angle turn. Had the fridge on the stairs sans appliance dolly, but just couldn't do it as I was afraid someone was going to get hurt. So back down into the basement. I guess once I figure out how to get the freon removed from it, I'll cut it up with a reciprocating saw and get it out that way. Major fail on my part having it put down there instead of the garage when we moved into this house Not sure what the fuck I was thinking. Any advice on getting it out of there appreciated.

If you search this very thread, there seems to be quite a history of fake K216s, as well as some advice on how to test them?

You'll need to find something in 5.08mm (0.200") pitch. I've used the Molex SPOX connectors like this one but they aren't available in right angle versions. If the Black Gates are just the standard series and in the PSU, I would just replace them with something Panasonic in the right form factor. Something like Panasonic FM if standard radial. You probably won't be able to chase down BGs, and if you could, pricing will likely be insane. I personally don't think they are that good anyhow, and are an 85°C cap anyhow, ve. 105°C for good Panasonics or Nichicons. You might also replace the PSU rectifiers with Shottky as well. I typically use 11DQ10s or 31DQ10s for higher current applications.

I'm using some T50rps that my brother modded now, and like them quite a bit. These sounded like shit stock. I would love to hear Luis' modded T50rps (Paradox), and I believe Tyll has measured these. My pair are perhaps not quite as good as the LCD-2s I heard, but aren't too far off. I should ask Tyll to measure them
