  1. Happy birthday, bro. You picked a fine day for a birthday
  2. That sounded more like a ...oh never mind. Thanks, guys! Drinks on me tonight!
  3. Happy Birthday, guys. Hope you're somehow celebrating at the same time!
  4. SCHWEET!!! And also a wonderful release from MA Recordings Greg: Again, many thanks. What a fun batch of music ahead for me!
  5. Started on the wrapping today. Intermixed with champagne. Then breakfast. And a few cards. And more champagne, which ran out, so I moved on to an Italian red, the name of which escapes me now. (Once aired, it was quite good, though.) Dinner at 8:30 (which happens during the holidays).
  6. Vicki - glad you're up and round "for realsies" now. Don't trip on any christmas things and pull anything, please! Wayne, sometimes I just hang my head and wonder when I hear stories like that. But some people just don't "get it", and never will. I'm glad you continue to do this on the side and give pleasure to others.

    Amish Mafia

    Mine must be American Haiku.

    Amish Mafia

That's a nearly-Haiku post. Maybe you meant: Thinly disguised fiction shows so must sell tv or not? animal planet!
  9. Post-apocalypse rap: Wow! Considering today is the end of the world, I'll be leaving it on repeat so that a future generation hears it from below the rubble. You are welcome! I told Todd I wanted to get you "the highest of the high res" in his catalog. I hope it isn't one you already own. Cheers, my friend!
  10. GO HOLGA!!! I love my Holga. I don't post much from it. Getting the film processed and scanned can be a pain sometimes, but I recently found a new processing place that can do both (pretty rare any more) so hopefully I can get some posted here some day. The beauty of using a Holga is it's simplicity: no metering, no digital help, no nothing. Just pure composition. Love it. Enjoy!
  11. Hark! The herald Postman brings Amazon Fulfillment things! I'll try desperately to wait until Tuesday to open it... Early thanks to Greg!
  12. Order Up! And on it's way to Greg.
  13. Black Friday, Gangnam Walmart.
  14. Do you want a matching salt grinder? If you just want pepper, you might be able to move over to a king sized mill. I have no idea how one would fill this mill... (and BTW, there's nothing more dildo-like than this. Well, except for the handle. Good lord.)
  15. Caine's Arcade: Beautiful story.
  16. Available tools, and (unfortunately) the media. I think people who possess the mental problems that would put them in the state of "snapping" realize that a mass shooting is an option. The more they see it, the more they likely may be to believing it is somehow ok.

    RIP Dave Brubeck

Any jazz loss is a great loss. And considering Dave and what he did, the loss is even greater. RIP, Dave. EDIT: Nice article at latimes: http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/posts/la-et-ms-dave-brubeck-appreciation-20121205,0,848294.story
  18. And that's pretty much how it turned out. I called UPS and they confirmed that the package was delivered. I should have asked if they had the exact GPS coordinates of the drop off location because I didn't actually have the package, but didn't. That guy was just too perky. I then contacted Amazon and they immediately refunded the cost, so I'm out nothing. I suggested they put a tracer on the package, but they just wanted to refund the money. Good enough, I guess. I still think about the receipt with my information printed on it... Oh well. I'll just have to keep aware of my accounts as always. Meh.
  19. Happy Birthday. Is it Dave? is it Derek? For a proper birthday wish, I just need to know what your real name is (how else can I get your cake right?)
  20. Sounds like a good idea. Seems a bit quiet this year...
  21. Good thought. And thanks for the lolz, Nate. Yeah, I'll start by calling the freaks at UPS first to confirm the delivery. Amazon, 2nd. Otherwise, I hate my neighborhood. I've been there just four years and have had an attempted break-in, an ex-sex offender squatting in a neighboring lot, and this. I'll go on record with the West Coast Legal Team with this statement: I am going to move. Why live with this sort of garbage around your home? I've got a .44 upstairs but damned if I wasn't at work when this happened. "Drop the Amazon box, punk" > KPOW < "Thanks."
