  1. Yeah that's a good point too Michael.
  2. Otherwise, you can always use the body of the XLR-4 as ground pin (as long as the female connector of the amplifier is isolated from the chassis and connected to ground)
  3. I'm listening to this now, very interesting
  4. Yes, I have done the same for all headphones with a "detachable" cable. I think it is more practical to terminate it on a XLR-4 and then use an adapter if necessary to TSR 1/4" . By the way, now in large stores such as "Home Depot" they sell a cable covered with cotton in many different colors for lamps and decoration. This cotton coating can be great if you want to keep the original look of the new cable.
  5. Nice deluxe edition of "the three imaginary boys" I love "The Cure" since I was a teenager. I would say I'm sorry If I thought that it would change your mind But I know that this time I have said too much Been too unkind I tried to laugh about it Cover it all up with lies I tried to laugh about it Hiding the tears in my eyes 'Cause boys don't cry
  6. I also have some Pro4aa bought new a few years ago (I unzip the box). Headphones had been in the store for about a thousand years. 😁 Despite being new, the inside of the pads had "volatilized" and one of the drivers was not hearing well due to dust on the pad. I was able to send them to the Peninsula (continental Spain) and with the Koss guarantee I replaced the driver that did not work. being honest ... they sound horrible and are quite uncomfortable, the plastic coating of the earpads is hard and sticks with sweat, but they are indestructible
  7. I would not touch the transistors unless they are damaged ...
  8. I know gaming headphones aren't the goal of the thread, but I've been spending quite a bit of time with them lately. To play DCS and IL II (military flight simulators) and to have business teleconferences I needed a headset with mix and bought a Logitec G432 a couple of weeks ago. It does not reach the level of most headphones that I have at home (obviously) but they do their job quite well in games and I can "listen to music" while I work without worrying about whether they fall or suffer a blow, etc ... I do not know how long the coating will last of the earpads but in general I think he is quite well built. One detail that I really liked is the is the DAC that comes with them because it´s very useful since you can convert any 3.5-jack headset to USB. I think it was about 50 bucks well spent.
  9. My friend rested the day before yesterday. 59 years. Many other clubs showed their respects. A great person, kind, loving, always taking care of the weakest boys in the cycling peloton Our club will place a commemorative plaque on one of his favorite routes.
  10. Yesterday I started with Bkool again. The feeling (in Watt) is much more realistic than the Tack app, although unfortunately it does not offer real videos of your route.
  11. Thank you very much everyone. Maybe I shouldn't have posted that here but frankly I'm very upset. This photo is from last year doing two laps around the island: it's how I want to remember him.
  12. I had to say goodbye to a good friend before he was completely sedated. In a few days he will rest in peace. Fucking cancer. Good bye Sargent. Always on the wheel !!!!
  13. Yes, there is something wrong. I have used the calibration tool of the application itself (accelerate up to 30kms / h and then stop), but it remains the same. It is ridiculous to cycle 5 kms
  14. It is the album that I like the most by Tonbruket. I admit that I don't like Dan Berglund's solo work as much as Magnus Ostrom's
  15. I don't know. I'm going to try to modify it. I have tried to vary the "Sloper Modifier" and yes, the hardness varies a bit but it is not the setting I am looking for. Yesterday I was climbing a slope at 9% with 300W I was climbing at 9 km / h. I accelerated and with 350w it kept climbing at 9kms / h ... all very strange. I think the app is set to focus on power work. My teammates do not have such a modern tacx so they are not very clear about how this works either.
  16. Yes, 75kgs... but I have some dudes with FTP. 202 W is selected by default. ¿?
  17. Today I finally received all the spare parts. Di2 R8050 Deviator Di2 cable Derailleur hanger Dura Ace bottom bracket Dura Ace Chain I'm going to finish riding it all this weekend at Stevens and next week I'll pick up my Biachi. Lately I'm just strength training with the Tacx. It's funny because to go flat road (at 0%) at about 20 km/h I need to develop about 220W... this is not very normal. In real life with that power I'm riding over 40kms / h
