  4. The volt result may vary depending of your local supply (Congo explained it over there) but I don't think you have many differences. Order the one that makes you feel the most comfortable. Be very careful with capacitors. I recommend that you remove the metal washers.
  5. I've always liked Desmond's way of playing. Dave Brubeck might have been a good pianist... but the soul of his quartet was Paul

I guess they have always been more focused on their domestic market (much more High End demanding) Very interesting link
  7. Very nice...
  8. Delvon Lammarr.... I liked his previous drums better (David McGraw)
  9. Critical Acclaim... ummm, no bad ๐Ÿ˜‰
  10. If that cable fixed the problem, leave it like that. ๐Ÿ™‚
  11. The problem with using two PSUs is precisely the differential between the two PSU grounds. Itยดs a pain especially if you use a volume pot in your amp... I know quite well. I usually use a star "loop" (connect all the ground in this point), the check, if you have problems like noises, etc... disconnect the ground from one PSU and check it again. If this does not work for you, you should try different combinations of doughs. It is time consuming and quite tedious. I have read several posts where using ONE PSU is preferred for this reason.

  14. ^ I have the original vinyl from '87. It was the first vinyl I had, a gift from my mother when I was just 10 years old and I released my first stereo. Over time I have been gathering different versions, both on cd and vinyl. I love that album and it means a lot to me (along with the "blood sugar sex magik" and the "seventh son of a seventh son")
  15. A few minutes after work with the vertical drill...

  17. CFAe runs hot, VERY hot. I would prefer a "normal" heatsink...
  18. Thanks. Although the GRLV is very clean and stable, for preamps I prefer to use R-cores and easier to place in a single chassis since they do not electromagnetically interfere (or very little) with anything. Itยดs optional so you can perfectly use a toroid Now that I've seen the preview, it's been a little over a year since Dr. Gilmore sent me a design for a new buffer based on the CFA architecture. At the moment I have not been able to put it into operation. If confinement and anti-virus measures allow it this year I could have it ready.

  25. Yesterday I received a Proxxon 28566 base for mini tool (I normally use a dremel 4000 and a Bosch GRO12v-35) ). I thought it was better than the Dremel base, in fact Proxxon uses better materials and has a reputation for making high quality mini tools, but I was disappointed. Although the materials are much better than the Dremel (Itยดs made of aluminum and steel and Dremel use plastic), the guides are "crooked", so that when lowering and raising the tool, it is locked in any position. I have tried unscrewing the guides, but have not gotten a proper tool movement. I'm going to see how to modify it. ๐Ÿ™„
