Still use gvim as my text editor. I detest GUI-based editors because it's so hard to do repetitive things. gvim gives me the best of both worlds. As to what I did today, I traveled. All day. I'm now in scenic Scranton.

We're going to Le Bec-Fin Monday evening. Will that do? If not, could please suggest a source or two in that area for a real cheese steak? That's what I was afraid of. I haven't followed "The Office" at all, so the tour will probably be meaningless for me.

Tomorrow, I'm flying to Philadelphia and then driving up to Scranton, PA for my niece's wedding this weekend. I don't know the area at all. I'd appreciate any suggestions for interesting things to do in the area. Thanks in advance for your help.

I really like 7n7s, especially the older tall bottles. I also really like the prices for 7n7s. When asking for tall bottles, be sure to get old, original tall bottles. I received one that appears to be a Soviet 6sn7 that was converted somehow to loctal. While it is a very interesting tube, it doesn't sound as good as older Sylvania 7n7s, tall bottle or not.

Even at 1/4 off, they don't come close to the Monoprice 3' cable. At least they don't bend you over

For $50, who cares about reliability? Worst case it's a throw-away in a year or two. Virtually all battery/quartz watches are disgustingly accurate.

You like it and it's cheap (price-wise). What's the problem? Who cares what anybody else thinks about the brand or the watch? It's better to go with your gut feelings rather than others' gut feelings.

Finally got around to ordering the Beatles Mono and Stereo remastered box sets. Then bought Dave Brubeck - Indian Summer at the concert tonight.
