  1. Can't argue with that. I'm just saying, hockey is the #1 sport in Toronto, unlike Nashville where it's probably less popular than darts.
  2. As much as I hate the Leafs because they're Montreal eternal rivals, it saddens me to see them losing like they've been doing for the last couple of years. Toronto is one of the greatest hockey cities and the fans deserve a good club, unlike places like Nashville and Colombus where nobody cares about hockey. I'm all for a return to a 6-clubs league.
  3. HE knows who you are.
  4. Hey, I created this avatar for personal use! The Carolina Audio Society is going to start a lawsuit if you don't change it within 24 hours, unless you decide to buy some gear from us.
  5. Edguy - Hellfire Club
  6. The saviour of the headphone hobby.
  7. The Mac Minis are great, I'd get one if I didn't already have a MacBook. In fact, if Apple ever decides to release a netbook, I'd sell the MacBook and get the netbook for work/school and a Mini at home. That'd be the perfect computer setup for me.
  8. Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso - Darwin!
  9. Can - Tago Mago I'm not a big krautrock fan like some people here, but this album is very nice.
  10. Looks like a viral marketing campaign for the Carolina Audio Society. I always thought Deepak and Voltron were in the good guys, but I guess I was wrong.
  11. Happy birthday!
  12. Testament - The New Order
  13. Nope, that post made sense unlike the previous one which seemed more like manufacturer sucking than anything else.
  14. I've always been a loyal Firefox fan, but I've decided to give Safari 4 Beta a chance because it's supposed to be super-fast and better integrated in OS X than Firefox. So far, it looks great and I notice a slight improvement in speed, but there's one thing that's bothering me quite a bit: is it possible to activate autoscrolling (or drag scrolling) like in Firefox? By drag scrolling, I mean clicking the middle button on the mouse and just dragging the mouse around to scroll. That's one essential option for me. Thanks!
  15. The only shows I watch are Lost, House and a show in french called Les Invincibles. I had been following Heroes until recently, but the plot has lost all its coherence and the acting is downright poor so I've stopped watching it.
  16. You're not the only one who finds his posts ridiculous, trust me. He's always walking on the thin line between shilling and over-enthusiasm as far as I'm concerned.
  17. It's excellent stuff, representative of how awesome Fish was at that time. There's not much to be said really, it's what you'd expect, which is official soundboard recordings from 3 different tours. I'd have preferred a little less of Misplaced Childhood and perhaps some early classics like Cinderella Search and Grendel, but overall it's a great boxset. There's a new boxset available on Fish's site also, "The Early Stages 1982-1987 The Official Bootlegs",looks pretty awesome. If you're like me, I never get enough of Fish-era Marillion and while Hogarth-era is cool, it never fully quench the thirst.
  18. Original CD pressing. Thanks for the info. Unfortunately for my wallet, there are too many of "those bands" in my favorite artists so I'll end up with a vinyl rig sooner or later.
  19. Great album with a very weird guest appearance by Rick Wakeman. BTW, I've been trying to find the best versions of the first four Sabbath albums to own on CD, but the threads on SH.tv are pretty confusing. Are you on the Castle remasters camp or the original pressing camp?
  20. Marillion - Curtain Call (boxset)
  21. Kansas - Leftoverture
  22. I'm in a "snatch some suggestions from the What are you listening? thread" phase to see if I can discover some great recent artists. I've been listening to Neko Case which seems to be a favorite here, unfortunately it's not exactly my kind of stuff.
  23. Yup, just plain old rivalry. I have to admit it could be a good year for the Caps, Ovechkin is on fire and the whole team is pretty solid.
  24. Yes - Relayer (needledrop) Man, I need to buy a turntable, this rip smokes my two CD versions.
