The price seems kind of high if it's just a remastered PS-1. Anyway, I'll never spend big bucks like that on a headphone without the Stax name on it.

For the folks here who don't follow H-F, this is shaping up to be a very nice meet: Montreal meet at the FSI show! The Festival Son & Image is a big hi-fi expo held in Montreal every year that lasts 4 days (3 open to the public). We'd get an occasion this year to have a free booth for headphone enthusiasts sponsored by Sennheiser where we could expose our gear. It's still in preliminary stage of planning and I don't have anything to do with the organization of the meet this time, but it seems like a great occasion to promote the hobby in a speaker environment (and accept how inferior headphones are compared to good speaker setups ).

Good to know, I almost picked one at 175$ two weeks ago. Seems like a fine solution for a transport though, but I decided to go against it because it doesn't meet me space constraints.

My understanding is that Shure will replace the IEMs if the cable cracks, so if this pair happens to be one of the old batch, if it ever fails, you'll get a new pair with a better cable. About the Complys, they are comparable to the black olives in terms of comfort, but they deteriorate much more quickly. Also, they're grey, so it becomes quite ugly after a week or two of daily usage. Medium olive foamies are my tip of choice.

Thumbs up for Darwin, one of the greatest scientists of all times. That's quite surprising, Churchill has good historical value, but Darwin is on a much higher level of greatness as far as I'm concerned. About Diana, I always thought the Brits fascination for her was strange, but at the same time, I can't understand why people here love Celine Dion... Sweet, I remember how surprised I was when I first heard the ESP950 out of the KGSS. Too bad these cans have a bad rep due to the crappy stock amp because they are truly able to shine under decent amplification.
