  1. Are they stored on an external drive? How fast is it?
  2. Bonal and Rye Killed my first bottle of bitters...
  3. i'm not sure how it's any more or less trouble then.... well, building another amp Also, notice that most beta22 builders already install a Zobel that could be causing ill-effects here.
  4. Really like this one
  5. Kevin, perhaps adding a compensation circuit would help? Perhaps there is an impedance peak that a Zobel network could flatten?
  6. any more stock down the street?
  7. oh, cry me a river welcome to my world...
  8. PCBs will be here on Tuesday. Chances are, some of you will have them in a week from today. Please, make sure I have your shipping address. If I don't, I'll be unhappy.
  9. Ship them to me and I'll forward them with your PCBs... Not sure it will save you much though.
  10. Fernet Branca
  11. They will be coming in slightly less than I expected, so I'll pick up the PayPal fees, so don't figure that into the cost. Closed.
  12. Playing with these four ingredients. Lots of potential here...
  13. Heh Also, I'd take some Stax pins in trade if anyone has a bunch of those lying around...
  14. final cut, added a bottom silk and notation for which side is which. Also, the hole for the pins just fits the larger diameter on the pin surface. The reason is, sometimes the nuts come loose and I wanted to push the board down onto the nuts to prevent this from happening. Also, it gives more material to solder to. This is different than say how the T2 boards work, in which the hole diameter is the smaller of the pin diameters.

  17. This. Interesting. What did you think of The Springbank choice Al?
  18. Ok, ready to go. Looking at $3.50 each, and $2 worldwide shipping. I'm going to close the order in 24 hours from now (tomorrow night).
  19. Cannot speak to interest, but here are the ones I'd use: http://www.cardas.com/images/oem/PDF_DRAWINGS/GRFADBLPRT.pdf
  20. ... Any chance you could stick this on your input selector board, before the volume control board, with perhaps the Cardas stacked RCA PCB mount connector? That would be a pretty slick deal.
  21. I listened to it with Grados, at Dallas meet and was pretty impressed. For whatever reason, the Senns did not seem to really impress me, compared the other amps at the meet (Dynahi specifically). I would love the chance to reevaluate though.
  22. If I liked Grados, I'd probably own this amp.
  23. I used the same thing in my phono pre. I have to agree. I'm starting to think that phono pre is really one of the best places for these ICs. I still have some tweaking to do but I'm getting real close. Congrats though! Have you looked that the THAT 1200/3/6? Edit: one more question, I assume that this doesn't tolerate any DC on the input?
