This, but with DIY raspberry gomme. This is definitely a texture I like. Gomme is a PITA to make, and not cheap. I made up some pineapple and raspberry, but next time I will leave this to the pros...

Silver Sloe Gin Fizz 1 1/2 ounces Sloe gin 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice 1/2 ounce simple syrup 1 egg white Dash orange bitters Top with soda water Mix all ingredients but soda water in shaker tin. Shake with ice until chilled. Strain into a highball glass with four ice cubes (yeah I know it's a Collins) Top with soda water, and garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry. Well, I went a bit overboard on that egg I guess. This is a fantastic drink!

I thought about this. I have read that this introduces other safety concerns though, but cannot find the article at the moment. Has anyone else heard of this being a problem?

Hm. If I had to choose between a mislabeled cap, or a board manufacturing error, I'd probably assume the latter.
 -
So, I ended up having to split this into separate boards. So, this is just the AC filter. I tried to pay attention to current and voltage requirements on this one, the traces are 3mm traces with 1.7mm trace spacing. The board can accept an on board IEC socket, or a nice heavy duty wire-to-board connector. Opinions?

Yum Shelly! Still sipping the Old Tom. It's tasty. I want to say the Vintage was right at $50 with the key and cash discounts...
 -
It's sold out everywhere (the vintage). It's on sale now, hence the run on stock.

The bourbon is good. It's sweet and not complex, in other words, it's not a cognac. I think it was a good haul. One day I'll get a premium bourbon

Okay, one last drink: Tom Collins 2 oz Tom 1/2 oz lemon juice 8 oz soda 1 tsp rich syrup Pretty much only one way to mix this one. Cheers!

Nice Shelly! Glad it worked out!

Need to kill this bottle of Bacardi, which worked out well as I was a bit short for the second drink and made it up with W&N, which turned out to be an amazing drink! Daiquiri 2 oz rum Juice of 1/2 lime 1 tsp powdered sugar Add sugar and juice lime. Stir. Add lime hull. Add crushed ice into up glass to chill. Add crushed ice to mixing vessel. Add rum. Remove ice from glass. Shake and double strain. Hemingway Daiquiri 1.5 oz rum 0.5 oz overproof rum 0.75 oz lime juice 1 tsp powdered sugar 1 tsp grapefruit juice 1 tsp maraschino liqueur Same as above. Serve on ice. Garnish with a cherry. Mint Julep 3 sprigs fresh mint 1 sugar cube 3 ounces bourbon 1 additional mint sprig for garnish Place the sugar cube and 3 mint sprigs into your glass, add a small splash of water, and gently muddle to break up the sugar and release the oils from the mint. Pack the glass with crushed ice and add the bourbon. Gently slide a barspoon through the ice and lightly stir mix the bourbon through the muddled mint. Garnish with the remaining mint. And an action pic of my 5 year old in his first T-Ball game

Thanks Shelly! Of course, I cannot get any of those.. I decided to take a chance on the Russell Reserve 10 year bourbon. We will see.

working on directly attaching my Netgear ReadyNAS to my mac mini and setting up jumbo frame support. So far, very slick and very fast. The only issue I have is Internet Sharing not working from the ethernet interface over to the wireless interface, despite it being configured. This isn't a huge issue, but now I have to manually upgrade the firmware on the Netgear device. Next up, creating a single iPhoto library for all users on this machine, and perhaps a single iTunes library, if that's even possible (merging).
