A pair of omnis I'd guess.

sure, these are the people I'm using: Welcome to Crosslink Texas, Powder Coating of Austin

Air Mail is the best champaign cocktail I've had so far. Very tasty! Milk Punch is surprisingly good, I liked it a lot.
-
Anvil #27: Death in the Afternoon 1.5 oz absinthe (St. George) 4 oz Cava
-
Ah, I wasn't clear. The "coating" was to add color more than any functional use. Oh, you're probably taking to Justin... Carry on...
-
Anvil #2: Air Mail 1.5 oz aged rum 0.75 oz fresh lime juice 1 oz honey syrup (0.5 oz honey to 0.5 oz water, heated) 1 oz Cava Mix first three ingredients an shake over ice. Heating up the honey helps it mix. Strain and top with Cava. Add dash of Angostura and draw a mint leaf around on top to garnish.

Anvil #1: Absinthe Drip 1 oz Absinthe (St. George) 2 oz water, shaken with ice 1 sugar cube Slowly pour chilled water across sugar. Discard remaining sugar after 2 oz water is spent.

This place offered to powder coat the screws with a clear coat. They say they do this all the time, just the heads not the threads. I'm not sure what it will look like, but I guess we'll see. Thanks again!

It jingles a bit, but i have nothing to compare it too... I didn't notice it until you mentioned it though..
-
Yes!

I find this thread humorous. Anyways, I might have to get a Pre soon enough (must fit in with everyone else...) and I'm not carrying two phones... So.

Nice show Jim! And thanks for the recommendations, they are greatly appreciated.
-
his prices are pretty reasonable. I think I'd prefer the harder maple, but yeah I think that just went on my buy list. Thanks!
-
yes, they'll do the masking at the tune of $25/hr. They have a specific 3M (I believe) material that looks sorta like blue-greenish cellophane that they use. I suppose I could do it myself, I didn't think about asking that. We'll see what the project I gave them comes back looking like and go from there. Also, they'll plug up holes that have threads, like the big stainless knob I sent them. I'm curious to see how that turned out. Justin, thanks for the advice. On say the Pico, do you also have the heads of the screws powder coated with a clear coat? 4 mils on the heat sinks seems like a lot, just to be clear, that's the same thing that you do on the top and bottom panels, and the heat sinks?

Nice site! I love those maple ones. Any opinion on the wax that he sells as well?
-
Yay! This is my first FOTM to start!!! I feel dirty.
-
Honestly, I didn't like it as much as the first. Too dense and loafy if that makes sense. Looking for another recipe though, any recommendations? The chowder above was awesome!

An Original by EF 0.5 oz tequila 0.5 oz Cocchi 0.5 oz Batavia-Arrack 1 dash Peychauds 0.5 tsp Benedictine Stir with ice, dust with nutmeg Yummy!

Shelly, thanks again for the tequila recommendation, I'm enjoying it tonite. The only other tequila I have any desire to try is El Tosoro. It was my favorite and then went out of production for a few years. It's back and I'm wondering if it's the same. That being said, the Casa is in da house tonite!

ok, I need someone to unconfuse me. I went to a power coating place here in Austin to look around and get some pieces done (not for the T2, but I wanted to see how good of a job they would do). Most of their work looked like the front of the BHSE, more like clear coat, which they said was a single step application process. My question is, what do I have to ask for to get the finish that's on the rest of the BHSE, and something that makes sense for application to a heat sink? I forgot to ask, and next time I go back I'll bring a piece with me, but I just wanted to make sure I was a bit more informed. In general, how think are the power coat layers, around 1 mil? They didn't seem to know anything about polishing. They said that they scratch up the surface to help with adhesion anyways...

I have a feeling no one really cares, but here goes: Here's my status on "Forgotten" https://spreadsheets2.google.com/ccc?key=tWZ6u-lD8IOZpIRseEELzHg&authkey=CIn68b8K&hl=en&authkey=CIn68b8K#gid=0 The drinks that require Amer Picon or Orgeat I'll try with my homemade ingredients, also the "priority" 1 and 2 (see column F). That leaves the Priority 3-5. I wanted to see if there are any ingredients on those that you'd feel are must haves. In case you don't open the list, they are: Cherry Herring Junipero Genever Pisco Ransom Old Tom Gin Chartreuse creme de cacao dark creme de cacao Fernet Branca parfait amor Plymouth Sloe Gin blue curacao Gilka K

The Vegan Beer bread posted above: ... and some cod chowder (cheaped out on the $20/lb Halibut and got the Cod which was on sale at $8/lb at Whole Foods)
-
I bet the BHSE is slower than the original BH
-
One design has a servo, the other doesn't so that would make sense to me a least, Craig... Or maybe I don't quite understand all the Britishisms in your post? or are you referring to the time it takes for the CCS to come up in the BH?
