Briefcases, Bags, and the Murse
actually, that's probably a pretty cool idea. I'd like one for my K1000 and iPod please. No amp required.

Nice. I hope it's a good one... Otherwise they should have just left things as they are now.

I'd use the devices close the the output point on the board, then space them out as much as possible along the heat sink. In otherwords, start from the middle and work your way to the edges doing every other position.

The two 5K resistors that meet at the point marked FB on the original schematic. I most likely won't do that. I'm happy with the range of adjustment I have, given the heat sinks I'll be using.

Building New Home File Server
I have a ReadyNas Duo, which is the entry level model. Oh and I was serious about Windows Home Server. It's actually really nice.

Numbers are meaningless, just enjoy the sweet, sweet bags. I'm sorry Nate, I'm confused myself. I looked at the numbers and the Tri Star just seemed to strike a chord with me on being just the right size with the options I wanted. I will say that the Patagonia is also a nice bag, one that might be available for you to check out first hand at an outfitter near you.

jcx: how many pieces of audio gear have you built from start to finish? I remember seeing that overclocked IC thing from many moons ago, any more recent build pics that we can look at and aspire to create?

I got the powder coating back. Damn they did a good job. Everything seems to fit too. I brought my T2 heat sinks and they said they will be able to accommodate the narrowish fin distance, so when the time comes I'll have them do my chassis. Pics once I get home.

ok. I'll have something posted on 2/1 after I get back and before I leave again. I'll post the values that I used, though for my build. YMMV and all that.
