1. 'Allo 'Allo. Why again is this so funny? Ooh it's the booze.

Grado again

Seems like a useful post to me Nate. Just ban them both
3. Does this help at all? In the first pic, the large cube is on the right and on the left is a medium and a "carryable cube". Second pic has a medium and a small cube.
4. How do zeners die? Over current? Would higher wattage parts serve to protect the mosfets?
5. I believe there are 4.7 pF caps available, which should be fine.
6. Looks doable, without soldering nonetheless. However, if your not confident in your electronics knowledge, the $200 could be well spent, given the price of the unit.
7. I can. The packing cubes seem to be customized in size for various bags (notice that you have to select "small for tri-star", "medium for tri-star", etc. when adding them to cart). If you check out the right hand side of the screen when you're in the packing cube section, you'll see the dimensions. Granted, that's of little use, but it took me a while to even find those measurements, as they can be easily overlooked.
8. What about 1.5 MB though?
9. It would be interesting to compare trimmer values I suppose of the various working channels. I was assuming that one channel wasn't working, but after rereading I see the confusion.
10. Any idea what Idss grade the JFETs are?
11. I've always doubted those specs... Perhaps see if Bulgin has anything close to those specs in their catalog?
12. I see. I hope it's not a commercial product (either way, it's possible the fuse didn't do it's job, depending on the nature of the problem you're fixing) Carry on! Understanding how transformers work is a worthwhile endeavor in my opinion..
13. Not in nearfield
14. Yeah, packing cubes (including one that can be "worn" as a small bag), strap, and other nonsense. Should be here on Thursday!
15. How did you come up with the fuse rating?
16. x2. Do it!
17. That's some gainclone. Perhaps the current on the primary in reality is a bit less?
18. What's this on my doorstep!
19. one of these Bus Pirate - SparkFun Electronics
20. Tom Bihn Tri-Star and $100 worth of accessories...
21. I liked the Alpha Bravo Tyndall a lot. I think I need the backpack style thingy for when the munchkins are around. I really like the symmetry of the Tri-Star, and I'm going to have to tempt fate (i.e. Gene, Jim, and Boomy) and try this one.
22. Yup, that is the one I was referring to as the bigger Oxx. It has a few hundred more sq in of space compared to the Bihn so it's a bit larger that I was wanting. I aldo prefer the Bihn look (despite Mrs. Monkey not liking the Bihn look above in this thread, maybe it was a murse that Dinny bought?) I definitely want three full size zipper spots and backpack option.
23. I looked at the MLC today. It's nice. For the price, its the best choice no doubt. I wish the Air Boss had backpack straps as an option. I'm going to order the Bihn today most likely that Monkey suggested above. Once I get it, I'll compare it to the MLC and go from there. The larger Oxx with the straps is a bit too big, and the Bihn Tri Star looks to be a nice compromise. Also, from the pics at least there is a bit more attention to detail than te Oxx and it has a more refined look IMHO.
24. I like the Patagonia MLC.
