    Fringe

Dunno know, I stopped watching after hour one.
  3. Happy B-day!
  4. , oh, man, look forward to knowing what "_____" and "____" are. Must be good stuff to be able to replace that b22...
  5. Damn, I always get a kick when I see those kleinhorns , incredible, single driver... I think they could be used as tree houses in the off-season Hope to hear more about the amp once you get it.
  6. Asr did you sell your B22? what are you using now?
  7. Very good looking indeed!
  8. If the unit he is selling is your "almost friend" bull-x's ex-unit, then it is 230V/50hz. If it would have been easily converted to 120V, I would have snatched that amp a few years back when it came up for sale. IIRC Justin mentioned at the time that it would require commissioning a custom toroidal transformer.
  9. depending on the operating parameters of the country in question..., if it is 220AC/50hz, then it should be ok. If not it would require a transformer change. Aren't Gilmore Reference toridals custom?
  10. This unit was f/s on head-fi a few years back. The user name was something like bullX or something similar to that. He was in Spain, so it seems that this unit has stayed there. I think you would like it with that CEC/museatex (it is a great source.) The price is good enough that even if you don't like it, there isn't much to loose anyhow. [provided you could find a buyer right there in the EU]
  11. Happy B-day!
  12. AH, Thanks! I was indeed looking in the wrong place
  13. I wanted to read the stuff you are talking about the 8-channel configuration in that thread, but I can't find it..... Am I looking in the wrong place?
  14. Hey man, good to see you are here releasing extra energy that you couldn't in the other place and diggin' old threads, etc, that you are coming across, but are we close to done? You know this place is not all about inanity, I know hard to believe, but stick around and you'll see that the exchange is valuable most of the time.

    RS1's?

    RS1's?

Actually, indeed I have seen a few offered for around that or more actually. Not sure I would pay that though.
  17. Yep, that 4X100 was pretty nuts. Impressive how the timing of the strokes can play such a crucial factor, as it served well the US team. Unfortunately for the French team, the stroke of the guy was a bit out of phase with the arrival/touch point.
  18. Happy B-day!! Yonder the days of electron microscopes Have a great one!
  19. I don't know about the timing of others, but the unit I heard w/ a DAC was in march '07. Long time ago. I remember the date because I sent an amp for an update, along in the return shipment with the SQRwave, this then became a putative project for a balanced SS amp. of course that was 1.5yrs ago, still the amp is a ghost.
  20. Thanks man, that pic 2/9 is just... FUBAR
  21. This certainly looks pretty. Bigger pic.
  22. Georgian breakaway city in ruins - CNN.com Please check pic #2. I don't know how long they will keep this series up. I tried to find the picture in a non-flash environment, but could not. So I could not post it by itself. I usually stay away from commenting on war(s), politics, religion, etc. BUT, I could not take it. This is just fucked up. It made me really sad. This could very well be me my mother...

    RS1's?

Comparing the selling prices for the Grado HP-X vs Graso SR/RS series, it is easy to imagine that the [margin of earnings/production costs] ratio is much greater with the current line. I think even taking into account inflation, the Joe grado cans were over-engineered for the task thus reducing the profit margin. This of course is in my humble speculating opinion, as I have no hard facts to substantiate any claims
  24. How about one word for you guys: Jordache, those jeans were hot when I was in HC. Levi's were always cool. THEN Pepe jeans took over. LOL, I have never purchased a pair of jeans worth more than $70 bucks, let alone those fancy designer jeans worth a couple hundred.
  25. The only amp I currently have that brings life into this cans is a modified Earmax pro.
