  1. BACH: The Art of Life (Encore Edition) Daniil Trifonov 2021 https://album.link/i/1607542634 Example: 58 tracks! That is a lot of Bach. And I am okay with that.
  2. Outlandos D'Amour The Police 1978 https://album.link/i/1440797181 Example: This album (like many) reminds me, that so much of the police, is Copeland. Just the opening of this song from the live show - with Stewart taping up his fingers because he plays just too darn hard. https://youtu.be/Vzkp9TqN9po Then: This made my Prog-Heart go pitter patter. Milliontown (remastered) Frost* 2006 https://album.link/i/1541286848 This Scorching opening track had me hooked: New to me (Yeah, I realize that Dusty posted about them about 13 years ago). But happy to have them now.
  3. The British GP did not disappoint.
  4. I guess YT is learning.. Feed me more Hania... A few too many lingering shots of white people looking earnest. I would be more like Hania, eyes closed and grooving.... But really showed her diversity and incredible playing in a live environment.
  5. Just in case there are a few people that like guitars
  6. Venice - Infinitely Avantgarde (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Hania Rani 2022 https://album.link/i/1595836579 Example: Man, I hope that Hania continues to make more soundtracks/scores. Just wonderful compositions. https://www.nexodigitalcinema.com/venice-infinitely-avant-garde/
  7. Kid A Radiohead 2000 https://album.link/i/1097862870 Example: Experimental in nature - but a good listen.
  8. Cheers Mr Greg -- Happy Birthdays! -- a toast to you..
  9. ^^ another one I need to rewatch. Rounding off my afternoon listening with a slightly longer album (1:45) of goodness. My Bluegrass Heart Béla Fleck 2021 https://album.link/i/1576234810 Example - starts out with this and then just gets better: With the following lineup - it is hard to not like. It's like they have all been cooped to for too long and they just wanted to play. Banjo --- Béla Fleck, Noam Pikelny, Tony Trischka Bass --- Edgar Meyer, Mark Schatz, Paul Kowert, Royal Masat Dobro --- Jerry Douglas Fiddle --- Andy Leftwich, Billy Contreras, Michael Cleveland, Stuart Duncan Guitar --- Billy Strings, Bryan Sutton, Cody Kilby, Molly Tuttle Mandolin --- Chris Thile, David Grisman, Dominick Leslie, Sam Bush, Sierra Hull
  10. And of course, this led me to my next Album because of this track. Ooh La La Faces 1973 https://album.link/i/1031010809 a quick 30-minute album that brings me joy.
  11. Rushmore Various Artists 1999 https://album.link/i/1440828232 Example: Need to watch the movie again... soon
  12. Cheers Justin .. Happy Birthday
  13. Just listening to Tim {Henson} play some tune with friends
  14. ^^ this CLOSURE / CONTINUATION (360 Reality Audio Version) Porcupine Tree 2022 https://album.link/i/1592575933 Example: Good mix of songs as well.
  15. Rosa Chihiro Yamanaka 2020 https://album.link/i/1517727137 Example: Unknown artist to me. I thought it was maybe classical, until I heard the first note. Oh jazz, oh look it is Blue Note. Next time take a little look before you leap Mikey. Or maybe not, I might not get to listen to some things otherwise. Anyway, a good recording of some standards and originals.
  16. So, I was playing a game on my phone and there was a pop-up ad. I think I found an Easter egg that 'maybe' they didn't see.
  17. Prokofiev: Piano Concertos Nos. 4 & 5 Vladimir Ashkenazy, London Symphony Orchestra, André Previn 1997 (Wrong! It is a 1976 reissue of the 1975 recordings of all 5 Concertos, stoopid TIDAL, don't you read Discogs?) https://album.link/i/1452339744 Example (from the 1975 albums): Other than wishing there was an easy feedback loop for reporting bad info to TIDAL it is a good recording.
  18. Cheers Kerry -- Happy Birthday...
  19. Ever since Friends.
  20. I don't think you had to trade in Joanne, oh well 'merica! Congrats to the two of you. Happy to have you here that is for sure. Now we need to you vote, like a lot....
  21. Madman Across The Water (Deluxe Edition) Elton John 1971 https://album.link/i/1618478418 Example (demo): I have enjoyed the demos and some other live tracks. I probably won't listen to them much, but fun that they are there. The standard album tracks are just so good.
  22. Very not proggy Let Go (20th Anniversary Edition) Avril Lavigne 2002 https://album.link/i/1626353802 Example: She's 20 years older - not me... She could belt and there are hooks all over this album. I knew the first 5 songs off the top of my head, and I don't even listen to Avril that I can think of. Also, Top Gun: Maverick (Music From The Motion Picture) Hans Zimmer https://album.link/t/230595668 Working over old material here - but still good music. Looks like TIDAL does not have rights to Kenny Loggins yet, so that that is a Fail!
