  3. Practical as opposed to Theoretical (test or exam). E.g. Chemistry Practical (exam), where you have to actually do things, rather than just writing them down. Is there US equivalent terminology?
  4. Or Better Yet, this years class, which is more descriptive, yet somehow less fun http://www.mofo.com/events/seminars/files/14846.html As an aside, Do Morrison & Foerster associates get to put "I'm a MoFo'" on their Business Cards Bone? or Eggshell with Romalian Type?

  7. Heresy!. Stevie's stuff Just Works[/i.] Allegedly Who's Chatting is at the bottom of the forum page (scroll, scroll), not visible in the whats new page, not available as a (open in new tab) page of its own. oh well.
  8. Editing works for me (see), 'Stretch. But then I am using Firefox. Chat Room goes straight into the chat room, no who's chatting, if you just wanted to lurk. And where's the Head case Logo on the banner, it looks just like a generic Site at the moment. No doubt in time, all will be fixed
  9. Lots more white space == more scrolling ... + any way to make the "go to first new post" icon in the "Whats New?" view larger, as its my primary navigation device, Cap'n

  15. Lapdance Armageddon and Steve Morse at Slim's, San Francisco Very enjoyable. LA explained the derivation of their name, a combination of the accessible and enjoyable (hence Lapdance) and the challenging (Armageddon). Two talented pickers. I'm suprised that its taken me this long to see the winner of Guitar Players "Best Overall Guitarist" for five consecutive years, live. It was worth the wait however. It seems like only yesterday I was listening to "The Introduction" on a flexi disc. The ety ER-20's proved their worth, as I was able to enjoy the entire set, and leave the gig with my hearing intact. All this and I got lucky with both parking and the weather (The Bay Area is in the path of several storm systems at them moment). What more could you want.

Hospital emergency room shockers revealed online Potentially NSFW-ish and definitely leg-crossing/eye-watering in parts. Yanks floored by nail guns, computers and baseballs ? The Register () The search-able list even had some hits for headphones! e.g. "PT STUCK HEADPHONES INTO AN ELECTRIC SOCKET AND DEVELOPED AN ELECTRIC SHOCK" No doubt people with time on their hands, and their minds in the gutter ('Stretch?) can come up with others for us to "enjoy"
  18. Enjoyed Queens Tea (menu) at Lovejoy's Tea Room San Francisco over a period of two hours this afternoon. Still Stuffed. Very civilized. Bit of an estrogen overload with Joanne and six other ladies at the table, but, hey, when you're a playa, what can I say
