  1. Happy birthday, and ignore manaox, here's a cake for you.
  2. Most decently made phones will last decades if treated well. Repairs are usually needed for damage than failure. Whether it's cut cord, broken headband or whatever. Relatively few phones fall apart naturally or fail electrically. Of those, some hi-end magnesium frames on odd Denons and Sonys have proven a bit fragile, AKG elastics give out with age, same with pads and other 'consumables'. Most go on seemingly forever without any problems.

  16. I imagine these are being tested and measured by a different benchmark and specific standard than run-o-the-mill phones for domestic use. I'd imagine most phones would read poorly by the same standard unless I'm reading wrong.. not unheard of.
  17. Now, about that $300 dollar USB version you promised me

  19. Because they are high quality and very durable studio engineer phones built for a specific application.
  20. I don't know why people get so pantybunched over their fuckingheadphones, it's not like they mean shit in the grand scheme of things. I like all kinds of shit and don't really hold any brand affiliations. I like what I like no matter who makes it or who else likes or dislikes them. No skin off my nose either way. People are dumb, some more than others.
