I picked one up at the local Apple store the other day. I quite like it. It travels well, just folds up nice and easy. Fit and finish are good too. It seems more practical for portable use than the Griffin A frame stand. EDIT: my only complaint is that I wish the joints could be a little tighter. I feel that over time this thing might loosen up too much. We'll see.

Candid answers from AT&T on the new iPhone data plans pretty clear answers regarding the new data plans. Looks like you can get grandfathered into the $30 unlimited data plan on the iPad as long as you get an iPad before next Monday and keep the auto-renew feature on. Turn it off and you lose.

Was at the local Apple store last night and an employee told me that they are currently sold out as well. All iPads that come in are typically tagged as pre-orders (you can still reserve one from the store). Occasionally they get an order big enough to sell some at random, but it's not often.

Aside from setting a lock code to gain access initially, I'm unaware of any system-wide security once you're in. Some apps can be password protected. It would be nice if they would let you password protect the settings app, so you have to authenticate into it before gaining access to iPad settings. If you're going to leave it out as a source you could delete your email account(s) from the device for the meet and then reconfigure them afterwards.
