The first Traeger meal did not go well. Got the baby back ribs all set for the 3-2-1 cook and started the Traeger as directed, let it warm up and bit and left it on smoke to throw the ribs on for 3 hours. Walked away for a bit and saw no smoke so checked it out and the temp was at 540 and I was making jerky. After trying several things with Traeger service they decided the controller board on my brand new Traeger arrived bad so it was running at high no matter what I set it to. So now my 6 hours ribs have become 48 sous vide ribs.

Went to check out my neighborhood mall. This is definitely my kind of mall.

Planning to use my new Traeger for Thanksgiving dinner and will attempt this. http://www.traegergrills.com/recipes/detail/65 Looks pretty good but I need to figure out some decent meals to make in between now and then to figure out how to use the Traeger. What kind of accessories do you guys recommend for a Traeger?

I think you dropped him in the other league Shelly as I remember getting him off waivers and being pissed off when Haj stole him from me in the other league draft. Hopefully that makes you feel better. Bryan, I would feel bad but I have some serious winning to do before the end of the season.

Been handing out candy nonstop for about 45 minutes. Lots of little kids in my new neighborhood.

Two of my flights already cancelled for this week. Hoping the Friday flight is not cancelled as it is the only one I actually wanted to take. Not much going on here but I am really hoping the pond in my backyard does not overflow into my walk out basement. Tried to go to Home Depot yesterday and it was a nightmare with nothing worthwhile left in the store so I went to Dick's and bought ammo. Storm Supplies: 1,000 rounds of .45 1,000 rounds of .223 200 rounds of .357 Magnum 8 Hot Dogs (All that was freaking left) 8 D Batteries (All that was left) I am ready for the Zombies if they come.

Wish I was paying attention. Picked up D. Martin off the waivers and forgot to put him in my lineup. Left him on the bench on league one as well so I failed all the way around.

I am sick of being the high scorer in both leagues and nowhere near the top.

Decided to try the old 85 f1.4D instead of the newer G as there are so many die hard fans out there. Definitely not a fan of the speed or noise but the focus seems to be good after the slow focusing. Like the narrow focus plane but I think a Nikon G or Sigma 85 f1.4 might be in order. Lunch

National Zoo

Some from tonight's walk.

Don't need one of those but I do need some lenses. I have not been paying much attention but it does not appear a lot of good new lenses have flooded the Nikon market since I last checked. I need an 85 f1.4 and I guess the 24-70. Anything else new and exciting that you guys have tried? Looks like I will knock another Zoo of the list tomorrow and visit the National Zoo.

This is through my AirPort Extreme which has a weak password. The Verizon router has one that is like 300 letters long.

Over Wifi. I thought this would be a lot slower than hard wired.

My new Internet at the house in Falls Church.

Up against Shelly in both leagues this weekend. I just wish I had a bit more stability in either of my teams at this point. Seem to break 160 in one of the leagues each week and then score low on the other.

Tied with 34 seconds left when the Cowgirls score a TD and bring me the win.
