Spent the day in Illinois. Short client meeting but hung out in Hinsdale the rest of the day. Found a great beer/wine store, Whole Foods here has a whole FFF beer section, great butcher shop with Prime Brisket, found a decent home audio shop and two decent bike shops. Have not found guitar or camera shops but I am sure they are here. Ferrari dealer is 2 blocks from the house so I take that as a good sign.

I really think your best bet is to buy my practically NIB BHSE and keep it in the box to replace yours if it is murdered by dust or humidity.

I assume the beautiful, beautiful music is still there in the box. Some day I might let it out.

I have spent too much money on two boutique Parlor guitars and found neither ever got played. Strange size and nuts are interesting to have in the collection, but I would typically go with a Dread or at least an OM if I am getting a boutique guitar. I did see a Nerd Money ATM in Chicago and thought of you.

Drove the Audi for the first time in, I think, 10 weeks today to get the oil changed. Sitting in traffic all morning and afternoon is a great way to enjoy a sports sedan. Sunday out in South Riding is a great one for you with about a dozen STs in attendance all lined up in a row. Went back through my pics but I did not take any of that row, but it seems to be a Focus gathering. They typically do that one early and then everyone drives to some other meet at a wings place or something. There is one in Alexandria I believe on Sunday but I have never been.

Same here. I just have nothing I am all that interested in purchasing. I haven't even been into the safe in half a year and have been switching out the same two beater watches everyday.

I can confirm that the SolidSteel racks hold a BHSE just fine.
