I have a DVD-A player, but I can't find the remote for it, so I have to listen to the default layer, whatever it is. Also, I only have a couple DVD-A's: Queen's A Night at the Opera, Philip Glass, Koyaanisqatsi, Porcupine Tree, In Absentia and the recently obtained Deadwing, Blue Man Group, Audio and...uh...one more. I do, however, have quite a few "DAD's" from Classic Records, Arts Music (.de) and Chesky.

Theoretical question (based in fact): The K1000's went for US$379 at one point in recent history. Are you saying that no-one should sell K1000's for more than US$379? You're cracked. They used to be available for US$200, but are no longer available for that price. In fact, one cannot get them new anywhere. So the current price is whatever someone is willing to pay for them. I am not Marc, but allow me to answer this: yes. Yes they do.

Understood. The next time I see that Bernstein set for cheap(er than list), I'll get it. I need it to be "involving", since I don't fully "get" Mahler. You know how there are some composers whose music "plays itself" -- all you have to do is go through the motions, and it will pretty much enchant you (Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Bach come to mind)? Mahler doesn't work that way for me (I realize it's a totally subjective thing).
