  1. Speaking of on repeat, this is epic: I have their first album. I don't remember it sounding anything like this.
  2. Don't you always? I know I do. Me: corrugated cardboard paper cut -- the worst. Most egregious. Nasty little fucker.
  3. Oh hell yeah, that climax starting at 2:16... And thanks for the indirect Bandcamp link, Al.
  4. Third group looks like a Wish You Were Here outtake.
  5. It looks like cake.
  6. Me neither
  7. Burrito bowl because comfort food
  8. Another bacon wrapped banana?
  9. No, seriously, I cried.
  10. Ooh, bad time to get distracted, shit got surreal, but I think I can synopsize it thusly: there were zombies and not one but two big boss fights, and they won by not playing.
  11. I loved Russian Doll
  12. Happy almost belated birthday, Jeff. (party favour noise)
  13. Thanks for all the advice, guys. Actually, my bigger concern is that they'll "fix" the gnarliness/artifacts, and it will sound just like Audacity, so I need to hurry up and get around to it before they do that.
  14. Not really, no. Distortions aren't well represented by Fourier analysis. It might give a clue but... Wanted to know if it was a piece of crap before I downloaded it. That NTFS software I downloaded certainly was.
  15. I know how to slow down and pitch shift and everything, but the algorithm that YouTube uses is all gnarly and artifacty (probably because it has to be synchronized to the video), and it’s that particular distortion that I’m trying to recreate.
  16. Apparently it's the best way to record audio without a loopback cord. I want to upload some drum and bass backing tracks to YouTube, play it back at half speed, and record it, because I can't seem to duplicate that particular distortion. Take for example (okay, this is the specific drum and bass sound I want to emulate) this, and play it back at half speed. At normal speed, it is just synth pop, but at half speed it just sounds so deliciously doomy. That said, if you have any ideas on how to emulate the distortion, I am all (ahem) ears. Bitcrusher?
  17. Anyone use Soundflower?
  18. You spent the day reflecting? (Aye keed, aye keed...)
  19. He does the best covers. And the best metal faces.
  20. Let's agree to disagree.
