  1. Thanks. I presume it's that almost-electric-piano-through-some-sort-of-modulation-pedals sound? Yeah, one of my favourite patches on the Prophet 5 was a (self-) modified version of their Electric Piano patch. I really need to get my Prophet 5 fixed so that I can recreate it. I haven't been able to recreate it on the Prophet 6 or the Arturia virtual Prophet 5 instrument well enough to my liking. I love the song titles on that album. (I have many Recycle Or Die albums, including that one.) Also, unrelated, I thought this video might interest you (unless I got it from you, which I probably did):
  2. Bubble stuff == bubble bath?
  3. The Third Man
  4. Still Why We Sleep, just got to a part that made me think of Matt and that dreadful day. Basically, the author shows how driving while sleep deprived is as bad or worse than driving inebriated, because there isn’t as much of a stigma against driving while tired. Impaired judgment is still impaired judgement, no matter the cause. And as I’ve always said, when your judgment is impaired, your judgment as to whether or not your judgment is impaired is impaired. From what little I know of what happened, it sure sounds like sleep deprivation may have been a large factor.
  5. You’d probably just have a particular clientele.
  6. Started my daily walk in light rain. Rain became heavy. Raised umbrella. Saw lightning and heard thunderclap less than a second later. Realized I was a walking lightning rod. Turned around and went home.
  7. If whoever pulled up the weeds left any root structure at all, you may not have to spend any money on artificial ones.
  8. Blues based hard rock with female vocals
  9. Carnival Row—excellent production values, some nicely morally complex characters (but I think I know how this is going to go), and some interesting takes on contemporary issues. Recommended!
  10. Late Night Union on bandcamp. Hard rock. Only Access to the Sun is an album, but the rest of the songs are great, too. Previously was the sillily named Awooga, but they're even harder rock, and I dig them too.
  11. Daw! I would take him home and feed him and cuddle...um..him or her...and call him (involuntarily shudders)
  12. plate?. Fmfl
  13. I kept getting notices that it's been upgraded to hurricane...then level 2 hurricane, and now level 3 hurricane...I wish you all safe!
  14. @knuckledragger @ironbut anyone who believes there's no such thing as too many samples. https://reverb.com/software/samples-and-loops/reverb/3514-reverb-drum-machines-the-complete-collection
  15. Egad, batten down the hatches, y’all!
  16. Yes. Best not, then.
  17. Bjorn Riis, A Storm is Coming https://bjornriis.bandcamp.com/album/a-storm-is-coming The more I listen to this guy, the more I love his music.
  18. That’s a lot of porn. Aye keed aye keed
  19. Foxtrot, ...Lamb..., Selling England..., Trick..., Wind & Wuthering, and now ...and then there were three...—my first and still the most underrated.
