  1. Happy birthday! (party favour noise)
  2. Happy birthday! (party favour noies)
  3. (squints) That's gravel? (wanders off to get an eye exam)
  4. I'm confused -- are we doing euphemisms or aren't we?
  5. I caught up on Preacher season 2 -- what a weird show. What a great, weird show.
  6. (squints) Is that why you have yours so close to the edge, fire safety? So that if anything goes wrong, you can kick it into the water? Even if it's not, you have to admit, that's some entertaining imagery...
  7. I nearly ran over some ducks on Fairview Park Drive. (Jeff, was this a common problem?)
  8. I bet it'll still be delicious.
  9. Wait, we're discussion actual Poptarts now? I thought this was all innuendo. Butter for lube, poptarts for ... is nymphs a unisexual term for someone brazenly sexual or brazen about their sexuality?
  10. 5 hours?!?!? Isn't that the normal length of time between meals?
  11. Well, those are the two best songs from the Coverdale era (those two and Mistreated), I think everyone prefered Machine Head era purp, though I prefer the early Rod Evans era. I have this weird list of bands I'd like to cover 4 songs of, each. Deep Purple is one of them. I would cover "Rat Bat Blue" -- before Helloween covered them, I thought I was alone in this. And yes, Soldier of Fortune is one of them, too.
  12. 3Dio "Free Space Pro II" binaural microphone. They have an entry level model at $500. Wasn't sure where to put this, ultimately decided here, as they look funny. Oh, and "omni" model:
  13. Please post pics.
  14. Autocorrect changed "cartoon" to "Arcturian". XD
  15. Not all that surprising, considering Coverdale was in Purple at the time those songs were recorded. When did that come out? 2015, huh. Will have to try to listen to it once.
  16. Even 'innuendo' can be heard as a double-entendre.
  17. Ah, pumpkin curry, I miss you so.
  18. Wait, Rocky was a girl? RIP, June. 99 is a good run.
  19. Happy birthday, Antonio! (party favour noise)
  20. So a little over a ton for quad? I hope the bottom travel of the volume knob is accurate. I might crank it from 0.1 to 0.2 when I'm feeling dumbass.
  21. Moraz/Bruford, Music for Piano and Drums - Live in Maryland -- I was at this concert, and I only just found out this recording existed.
  22. Was it directly in the path of the exhaust vents of the laptop? The only reason I ask is because I've done that with my phone, thought it was overheating, when in fact, it was just convection.
  23. Lollers, long live Brexit 1776!
  24. If you put them on any kind of stand, yes, otherwise they'd be up in the rafters, no? But I live in a crummy non-bottom-floor apartment, I'm pretty sure I'd get assassinated if I even bought them. I think a separate dwelling would come before $125,000 monitors. That said, even if I had a proper studio with room treatments and whatnot, I'd still use them with the theory that more drivers with smaller travel == more linear bass, I.e. for deep bass, not exaggerated bass. Mostly. ?
