I was getting tired of all the Star Wars and Star Trek discussion in a science fiction group, so I made this post and inadvertently ended up alternately arguing with this one guy, and having fun at his expense. It wasn't meant to be trolling -- but I was getting really sick of the passive aggressive, "I'm right" atittude when it was convenient for him, but not being able to see things the other way. My favourite moment was insulting him to his face without him realizing it. Reminds me of me when I was on Head-Fi.

Our heroine, Camille, is still producing interesting music. This one puts me in mind of some of Kate Bush's more mature moments:

Yeah, several of my sisters coworkers' homes and friends' businesses were destroyed and she's been posting charity after charity including many animal both domestic and wild...and then she posts pics of her hike in sunny, blue-skied Washington, and I say, "good for her!" Because I want her away from that shit. Also, air-filter/fan trick to take much of the ash out of the air. Yeah, having been there with a co-worker whom I didn't know very well, but respected for her knowledge and smarts, it hits closer to home when you realize you were one of the last people to see her alive, and there didn't seem to be a clue that something like this was going to happen. You mentally rewind and replay, rewind and replay, but if you didn't pick up on it at the time, you're not going to pick up on it on the revisit of the memory. Yeah, I should get back to walking, now that I'm mostly better. I haven't walked since a week ago Monday.
