  1. Did you ever think about contacting all fencing companies to send you samples so that he could beta test their gear? Anything that doesn't get destroyed gets his endorsement.
  2. Great attitude, Steve. Best wishes.
  3. I think it's important we keep our heads in this time of crisis.
  4. It's actually enormous, he's using the make-things-look-like-toys filter: I shit you...that sounds wrong.
  5. Sweet, I didn't even think to look for it on YouTube.
  6. Happy birthday, Posty! (party favour noise)
  7. I would think the collards' feelings would be hurt.
  8. Thanks for the update.
  9. Well, no, not "unfortunate", but he does have the generally ovaloid head, like it was drawn by a lazy artist. But yes, bald. So I'm lazy -- buy the DVD set for $30?
  10. Just...generally. Not specifically. And: no, I have not, alas.
  11. One Punch Man is fantastic. Random factoid: I work with a guy who looks like him.
  12. Yeezh. I thought that sort of shit only happened in America. RIP the dead
  13. What wizardry is this?!?!?
  14. That's epic. **BURNT**
  15. Well, maybe he hasn't heard Norwegian Wood...
  16. Lady Gaga Napalm Strike show would get some spectacular press.
  17. Yeah, I'm not sure how to put it into words, but I'll try: Since I am familiar with the original, I got to hear the arrangement, distilled. He adds this funny chord progression that doesn't really have a key, so it sounds like it's just rising and falling without ever resolving. That made me realize he probably does things like that in his own compositions.
  18. Head-case, pedantic and educational.
  19. "A brief or trivial item of news or information." says one source. Another (Merriam-Webster), "a briefly stated and usually trivial fact." Now, that said, I'll probably stop using it that way, myself, because it sounds like a factoid in the original sense. Also, I love getting into arguments such as these even if on the losing side, because I still learn something.
  20. I just got to the cover of Norwegian Wood, and it's very instructive. It's like a switch flipped. Everything after that is making...well, alright, maybe not total sense, but more sense.
