Emmalee Crane, Formantine, Crux, and "Pretty in Pink" -- great swathes of washy goodness, a la John Foxx's Cathedral Oceans series and Lisa Gerrard's Whale Rider soundtrack; ambienty goodness. "Pretty in Pink" appears to be based on the same chord progression as the Psych Furs tune of the same name, although I didn't put a lot of thought into it, so could be wrong. (I was too busy blissing out.) (After all, that's how I discovered this artist -- I had searched on Pretty in Pink and played some of the versions, hoping for a cool cover.)

I'm confused, though. When I searched on MacBook Air, the response right next to it was also MSRP US$999, but was only $50 off, and the $779 one only has 2G memory, so I'd make sure that was the actual retail before I bought, based on that discount. I mean, if it's US$799 retail, that may not be as nice a discount. I have no idea how to check MSRP for archival Apple products, though.

Any idea why they discontinued it? A quality $300 pre/pro pretty much has no competition at its price point. EDIT: My guess, if I had to make one, would be that one of the many new multi-channel standards was impossible to update onto it.

That's fucked up. So they lied when they said it'd take 24 hours? By the way, "not procedure" and "cannot" are two separate things. Also, do it in writing. Make sure to opt for delivery confirmation. PS I just asked for you, as a non-subscriber considering subscribing, but hesitant to do so because of exactly this...etc. I will tell you what they say. I also submitted a negative helpfulness on the FAQ page. "How do I cancel?" should provide instructions for cancelling. I see a class action lawsuit in the future.

I finished Grave Peril from The Dresden Files, haven't started Summer Knight, but that's next. I wonder if he will ever write Stormy Knight.
