PS Audio NuWave Dac (NWD)
Incorrect. Need one reference for home, and one high performance/weight ratio one for travel. If work permits it, another reference one for work... And then this one because I can mod it. And this one because it looks cool. And this one because it has tubes. And this one runs on a battery...

Pink Floyd 1988- What are you listening to Part the Third
Got home, switched to The Puppini Sisters -- this is wonderful. They do old-style retro multi-part harmonies along the lines of Mary Ford (they even cover Mr. Sandman), sometimes accompanied by ukelele and apply it to old standards, new covers, and originals ("I Can't Believe I'm Not A Millionaire", "I Will Survive", "It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing" [they do the whole thing, including the slow part] and "Crazy In Love (Real Tuesday Weld remix)" are all superb).- What are you listening to Part the Third

"Limit 5 per person." Damnit, I wanted to put together a 12.2 system. Kidding. Can't really resist getting one pair at that price, even though I've had an influx of actives lately. Going to force myself to think about it. EDIT: (squints) ...Buuuuuut...OTOH, they had a larger bookshelf back then but don't now, for some reason. SP-BS21-LR (pair) SP-BS22-LR SP-BS41-LR (pair) SP-FS51-LR (pair) SP-FS52-LR (subwoofers and center channels left off list; I have no idea which are priced individually and which are priced "per pair" except where noted)- slower forum

I know Jacob and Birgir will probably cringe, but for us non-professionals, I highly recommend a bread-maker -- my ex swears by hers, and I can vouch for the quality that comes out of it. - slower forum
