  1. Hallelujah! I finally got past my mysterious-fail-in-embedded-library problem. Now I have an infinite looping problem instead of a premature abort problem, but still...progress.
  2. I really should participate in this thread more.
  3. You don't want pictures, trust me. I didn't look all that good before, and now I resemble an uncircumsized penis from behind (so: worse...unless you're into that, of course). The reason I'm going to start telling my co-workers: I'm a hair-farmer, it was harvest time. And yes, really not looking forward to the summer, purely a hunch, but it feels like it's going to be a bad one. Also: time -- can go straight to bed after shower, more or less. Also, allergens have less to get trapped onto. Also...just felt like it. Almost did it last year, chickened out. Now I need to find someone who will take my clippings for the gulf.
  4. The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least, 'pfff'.
  5. Output impedance to fine tune impedance matching?
  6. I just came in my pants a little bit.
  7. Shaved my head.
  8. Agreed, I really don't understand it myself. When I'm in the mood to listen to it, pretty much nothing else will do, and I'm not usually depressed when I want to listen to it, nor do I end up depressed afterwards. It's just something about the context of "the rest of my iPod". The alchemy of melancholy.
  9. I started laughing out loud at 1:30. And 2:10 was even better. I couldn't bring myself to do the Neti, but I found something better -- basically, it's a disposable Neti. "Simply Saline" -- it's like a saline water aerosol (not really aerosol -- "bag in a can" technology). Awesome. That'll wake you up.
  10. So...not something I'm going to be able to mail-order?
  11. You didn't see the Outkast reference? I kind of doubted this would be your cup of tea, why'd you even try it? Sorry, not meant as a dis, just wondering what you were thinking. (I am familiar with Brightblack Morning Light -- that's like the opposite end of the energy spectrum. Kind of like Ludes vs. Speed. I had to delete it from my iPod, despite liking it, because every time it came up on random, I just got depressed.)
  12. That would be my guess, too -- they're probably dropping Yama's to go with a different distributorship.
  13. Pfff. (Bookmarks links anyway, just in case wins lottery.)
  14. They don't gotta know. And who insures at RMAF? There's some insane things going on at that show, if I'm thinking of the right one. And couldn't you rewire it (I.E. add resistors in crucial places) so that it travels effectively discharged, and then take the resistors out when you get there?
  15. A bunch of different instrumentals on YouTube and the like -- "La Petite Fille de la mer", "Reve", "Alpha" by Vangelis, and so on -- trying to figure out some of my more favorites.
  16. Dual box would be easier to ship, I would think. They could go in separate boxes if they got too overengineered.
  17. I my Calvin Kleins -- and not because of the name, but because of all my black jeans, they've managed to retain their black the longest. I don't know what they're using for the dye, but it's insane.
  18. Not a DAC, but the Oppo BDP-83SE could best it, I think. I'm also fairly fond of my MSB DAC's, but don't know if they've updated them yet (it's going on a decade-old design, at this point). Without having heard it, the Cambridge Audio 840c should be on your short list. The newly-minted 650BD doesn't have external input, alas, maybe look for whatever they place in an 800-series?
  19. Ray's Hellburger...with garlic and onions and bread & butter pickle chips.
  20. Even before the guy came out with the cape, I was thinking that she was channeling some of the energy and charisma of Morris Day/the Time. And there's nothing like having a crack backup band. Will definitely check that out.
  21. Mmm...now I want something with garlic. Might have to go out for a late lunch.
  22. The one with the partial erection, awb-vee-us-lee. ah-ah-eh-ih-aw; ah-ah-eh-ih-aw...
  23. That there is sig material.
  24. That means that, as a group, they stole/bought them and are selling them on eBay at a small profit.
  25. That actually looks really good -- scallops and seaweed/kelp/spinach/what is that? And what kind of gravy? Looks garlicky. Oh, and me: not a goddamn thing. Drinking on an empty stomach.
