Stay in Baltimore -- there are actually a few record stores in Baltimore that are worthwhile (you should change the subject). The only ones I know about in DC are ...uh... not there anymore. CD Cellar in Virginia is about the only thing I can think of. Also, there are some fine dining establishments in Baltimore -- especially Seafood. If you're going to go anywhere else, go to Annapolis for that.
