  1. What the fuck is that thing? And why does it have a propeller on it?
  2. Huggable? I don't really have anything to add here, I just wanted to jump on the "moderators can post in closed threads" bandwagon.
  3. Dude, just read around -- you'll get the hang of the place. It had nothing to do with your content or offending anyone, it has to do with your tone, it's rather egocentric and -- now that you've been called out on it -- whiney. "What did I do wrong?" is a sure way to find yourself on the wrong end of a time-out.
  4. I think your best bet is to make a playlist. The biggest problem that I've found is long introductions or outros or whatnot that ruin the "mood", so it's rare that entire albums work well as running music. I vaguely remember having to start on "Kinda I Want to", and setting it on loop, so that it would end on "Sanctified" so that I could skip "Something I Can Never Have".
  5. Caps-lock in the subject, for starters. Yes. Maybe. Nothing is forbidden that isn't forbidden elsewhere.
  6. Pretty much.
  7. Wouldn't know -- I don't drink coffee.
  8. Sam is deaf when it comes to headphones. There was a non-RSA product -- don't remember which one -- that I completely didn't agree with, either. He's like a newb that heard headphones for the first time.
  9. What, do you want him to trip?
  10. Wow, that's sig-worthy.
  11. My housemate has an automatic coffee maker -- it's called a car: she drives to Starbucks.
  12. I forgot I have the ELP K2 CD's -- will have to dig them out and revisit them.
  13. That's less of a race dog and more of a hot dog.
  14. Power cables are broken, too.
  15. The Dreaming, Etched in Blood ought to be good running music, it doesn't really have a ballad. Broken is pretty consistent, and IIRC, all but one track on Pretty Hate Machine.
  16. I haven't been running recently (I need to resume that ASAP), but when I did, I did a lot of early Oingo Boingo and Nine Inch Nails' beatier songs.
  17. The snark is rather thick today, innit?
  18. Technically not impossible, but convoluted -- you could get one of the Sony home theater systems with SACD capabilities, digital inputs, and pre outs, and then you'd have it. But it'd be really entry level, and all-in-one systems need to be well ventilated or they are prone to overheat. Not the best of choices. What I do is, just get a good universal player. I have a separate system for computer listening, but that's not a requirement -- you could just switch the cables.
  19. I actually know where that is.
  20. So .
  21. Better? Directed at OP, if it wasn't obvious.
  22. I beg to differ: I doubt anyone would argue that Hirsch owns a G08.
  23. FTFY.
