  1. As mentioned in another thread, the partially-caged amp I was thinking of was the Moth Audio 300B Paradigm
  2. Hey, that 300B is the one I was trying to remember for the low-powered amp thread, thanks! And Ryan -- nice! The Moth is one of the amps that I've lusted after even though I've never heard it.
  3. 1. Get keys 2. Go to that place in Baltimore 3. Purchase Sorry, bumpies for a serious reply.

    And on a related note:
  5. You misspelled demons.
  6. Where are you getting that? You can't always just double the power output of an amplifier to get what it can do into 4 ohms -- some amps just shouldn't. I mean, I realize it's probably fine in this case, just wanted to err on the side of being right caution.
  7. Yeah, but the D-Sonics aren't 1kW. I just want whichever sounds better. And I doubt 5 of them will run that hot. I bet the Wheatfield runs hotter.

It's quality, not quantity! You are not your post count! The king is dead, long live the king! Viva le difference! And other shoddy slogans. PS how'd you do that?
  10. I was interested passively for a while, until I heard a professional install. Then I decided I was happy with my factory Clarion OEM'd system.
  11. Like a prophecy fulfilled.

I have one of those (not the fish [not a John Cleese, either]). I <3 John Cleese.
  13. Vicki still has you beat, Nate.
  14. Is not good? I've been meaning to try that place, I tend to like sandwich places...oh, well, guess I'll indefinitely postpone it. PS Me: candy. I should have some porridge or something. Maybe I'll have some faux-Rice Crispies.

Actually, it's the 2TB that I got a while ago, I just never plugged it into that computer before (my housemate's desktop -- on which there were a couple files that I needed to offload). But I did just free up a couple of 250G's.

I just plugged a Cavalry in to a computer for the first time, and it came up as a WD.

Isn't "N-M-K-Y" the letters the Beatles are spelling on the cover of Help?
  18. You make that sound like a bad thing. PS Another Mackie HR824 owner checking in just to say hi.
  19. That's funny, because seeing them on SNL made me buy their album...with which I was thoroughly underwhelmed. Hot Chip is much better (music-wise, not production) -- more variety, etc. But I've been rather underwhelmed with the whole alternative music scene lately, so just ignore these ramblings of a jaded old man. And by radio, I presume y'all are discussing broadcast radio, because there's a lot of good stuff on Sirius/XM, the few times I've heard it.
  20. This thread is some serious 'whu?'...
  21. (party favor noise)

    Whut?
  23. I wouldn't necessarily extrapolate her deeds to the entire genre. But ... yeezh -- why did I watch that?
