Wow, the HE-5 rings (and decays) a huge amount on both of the square waves......
  2. And according to my high school physics teacher...... if you come off the bike the hair increases friction with the road. Little chunks of skin can get torn out with each hair.
  3. Well, that is even better Yay Fitz! * You know, while I'm so stoked that everyone is comfortable and confident enough to come out...... well, it still saddens me that you have to even be comfortable and confident in the first place. It should just be 'you', as you are, no questions, no explanation. Still, baby steps are good......
  4. Cool beans. I thought I was going mad If everyone had it all figured out, it would be a very dull, dull world. I hope you find whatever it is that you are looking for.
  5. Yep, that's a fair assessment. Any talk of boobs, and I just completely lose conce......
  6. Oh well, seems I read something completely out of context then and got the wrong end of the stick. Its all good
  7. I could have sworn I read somewhere that Vicki was not heterosexual. Perhaps it was in a thread where a noob made a rather nasty 'gay' comment? In any case, if I got that wrong, I'm very sorry. Absolutely no harm or malice intended......
  8. ........ so are the only women who actively post on HC not heterosexual? That is a pretty sad indictment on the attractiveness of all the strapping young men we have on here!
  9. It just used to crash No biggie really. When it was working I had no complaints...... but since moving to dbpoweramp, I never look back.
  10. Uh oh, that is how it all starts. I think you might have caught it
  11. EAC used to crash quite regularly for me - only software that ever has done so on this otherwise rock solid laptop. Perhaps it just didn't like the external drive I was using, perhaps it was an unstable build I was using. Still dbpoweramp has been rock solid, so that's just my experiences.
  12. Oh noes! I'm not going to catch the gay from you, am I? Seriously, couldn't care less one way or the other. So long as people are happy, loving and consensual, then more power to them. But I am truly glad that you feel happy and comfortable enough to come out. In the modern world, it still baffles me as to why choice of sexual partner is still considered a valid reason to discriminate against people. It is so bloody arbitrary. [Edit] Oh, my only question to gay men is usually this...... how can you not love the boobies?!? But you already covered that well
  13. Is it actually a different encoder? In any case, the interface for dbpoweramp's batch encoder is pretty powerful. Indeed the whole package is well worth the money - far more robust/stable than EAC for ripping as well.
  14. The high res screen is pretty freaking impressive...... ...... but bloody awful bull-marketing in the name - retina display?!?
  15. Sweet. Looking forward to the big unveiling
  16. Thanks!
  17. Colour me a little curious to how this project is coming along. My soldering iron is getting tarnished and needs something to do, and I have a little spare cash in the kitty. Also, just wondering whether the RK27 is going to be the only on-board pot choice...... any chance that the pads for a DACT CT-2 could be added as well? Thanks lads!

Just to get a sense of scale...... how many attendees were there exactly?
  19. Wow...... I was very skeptical of the benefits, but all of your positive reports have blown that off quite quickly.
  20. As a home rig with a high end DAC I could absolutely see the benefit. But this does seem geared towards still being portable which seems like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Well, the proof will be in the listening......
  21. I think it is a serious concern that everything is done entirely digitally. If an analogue input needs to be ADCed, then DSPed, then DACed, then amped...... that is an awful lot of conversion going on, and a lot of faith put in the DAC they are using.
  22. Ever since my first burger I have stuffed fries in there. Its awesome. Sounds like my ideal curry

I'm no tea aficionado, but it was my understanding that the best tea is made with water that has never hit a boil, because boiling drives off the oxygen required for full flavour development.......?
  25. Looks like he left an amp behind as well How does it sounds?
