  15. Stop with recommending practicality. Do the vinotemp with the beads, or even a computer controlled humistat. DEW EET. I can tell you good places to get good prices on some cigars, too, if you'd like.
  16. It won't be too big for long, you're obsessive , plus it's only $250 ish for the vinotemp, and another couple hundred for the spanish cedar shelves, so it's a LOT cheaper than a comparable humidor. The credo is good at humidifying, but not so good at DEhumidifying.
  17. some do (that's how redwine got his start) There's also power regenerators, which do have a chance of making things better. I think mostly, the idea is to have gear with good power supplies, then cables don't matter so much.
  18. I don't get the foobar thing at all to be honest. I'm just not a tweaker.
  19. I convert everything to alac when I add it to my library, so that's not a problem. It's not like there's bit rot in a conversion. And I rip my own cds a lot more than I buy flacs... Besides, there are lots of music playing apps on mac that play all the formats. And plugins to let itunes play most...
  20. foobar is only popular because it helps fix what sucks about windows music stuff itunes is great.
  21. The audio midi setup shouldn't bother you for the same reason
  22. There are tactile transducers at parts express today for $29
