My opinion is that the K701s are completely boring. They do absolutely nothing wrong, but they don't do anything particularly right. So if "perfect" is what you look for, then they might be right for you. The SR225s are among my favorite cans. Throw some flat pads on them, give them a nice high current amp, and they sound great.

I thought the 2nd season was better, honestly. Characters were developing nicely, and we were starting to see the depth of the world. I was crushed when I saw the final episode and realized it was done to quickly wrap up loose ends.

I used my REI dividend and 20% off members coupon to get a pair of ahnu cross trainers to replace my well worn merrells. Very comfy, I didn't realize how bad off the old ones were.

The annual sale at the north face outlet in berkeley had some amazing prices. Not reasonable. Amazing. The outlet is normally reaosnable.

I haven't heard the 60s and 80s. The 225s with flats aren't fatiguing or bright, and definitely don't lack bass. They're my favorite can under $200, and can be had for $150ish used.

WD40 is great for cleaning guns. But it's basically diesel. You definitely have to clean the residue when you're done.

I work at home, and have my full rig here in my office. Speakers, headphones, balanced amp, mac mini, etc.

I've already got a 1st gen nano and a shuffle and a palmtop and a motorola q and a laptop and a mac mini, and well, you get the point I just don't listen mobile-ly enough yet to justify. And i'm hoping apple comes out with a bigger tablet.
