I really do not see what is wrong with the shape. Unless I am missing something this is not meant to be used like a mobile DAC but rather as a transportable DAC. Can you really appreciate "Studio-Quality Sound" in a mobile environment? Besides, that shape may work for some in their pockets.

Yep I use a Sanus rack with one more shelf in my home office. Excellent rack for the price. Couldn't really build a flexy for much less.

I will put in a vote for the Samsung 840 Pro. Fast, reliable and low power consumption. The second one has been the most important reason for me.
