Since I still need to use Windows for SAS and Excel (with the Data Analysis plug-in), I will probably buy one of these when my little Acer laptop bites the dust.
Not losing money is not the same as making money. Maybe I am naive but my perception of Jude's initial intention was to have Head-Fi pay for itself since at the beginning he did front the costs for the site. How quickly that changed into a for-profit site I will not even guess
I think the first 2 or 3 years were pretty good and not really about money or profit. After that it was an ever increasing move to a money making operation. Selling to Huddler just sealed the deal.
Thanks again to everyone who donated. This is the fifth year she will be running the Chicago Marathon and we calculated that she has raised over $10,000 for St. Judes. A big chunk of that has come from HC. Not bad for a bunch of rude assholes (I include myself in that description).
