I think the first 2 or 3 years were pretty good and not really about money or profit. After that it was an ever increasing move to a money making operation. Selling to Huddler just sealed the deal.

She just finished and set a new PR of 4:36.13. Woot! And Peters's soccer team won 4-1 so will play in the championship game! Woot^2

Sitting in Champaign waiting for the soccer game to start for the beginning of a crazy weekend.

Thanks again to everyone who donated. This is the fifth year she will be running the Chicago Marathon and we calculated that she has raised over $10,000 for St. Judes. A big chunk of that has come from HC. Not bad for a bunch of rude assholes (I include myself in that description).

Too late, she already has two pairs.

Everything was in character. Couldn't have really asked for more. Well done.

I am now a soccer parent

I just realized I never responded to this thread, so thank you for all the birthday well wishes. This year my birthday arrived on the perfect day as I have no classes to teach on Tuesdays. Had a nice rare ribeye for lunch, a couple of nice beers and cocktails over the course of the day and much relaxation. All in all a good day.

I approve of all these cocktails and the Brussells Sprouts.

That whiskey list was awesome. Wish I could have joined you guys. I'd say "have fun", but it looks like you are.
