  1. This thread has got me listening to my Mk.1s again after a honeymoon with the 009s. There's a lot to be said for a little moar phat.
  2. Happy Birthday!

    Top Gear

British rags say he punched a producer because his dinner wasn't ready in time. Don't drive hangry, I guess! Pretty sure he'll be canned for good this time -- not sure what that will mean for the show.
  4. San Fermin -- S/T Really looking forward to the next album. New stuff sounds great!
  5. Betraying truly appalling ignorance, where is the serial number on the mk1s?
  6. Think I'd probably be looking at the "regular" 42mm on the steel link bracelet, with a spare Sport Band for working out and playing golf.
  7. Steely Dan -- Aja
  8. Expense accounts FTW!
  9. I apologize -- it seems like quite a few people are having the same experiences that you are. There's a pretty detailed thread here (haven't read it all yet, hoping there might be some insight within): http://www.computeraudiophile.com/f22-networking-networked-audio-and-streaming/official-tidal-hifi-streaming-issues-thread-22260/
  10. My guess is it's your home network that is the bottleneck. I only have issues with TIDAL streaming when someone else in the house is chewing up bandwidth.
  11. Gang Of Four -- What Happens Next
  12. Twin Shadow -- Forget (on TIDAL, no issues with bit rate so far.) I love this record v. much!
  13. Happy Birthday Nate! I wish you no shoveling!
  14. Happy Birthday!
  15. Nice! Would want to be very sure about the import issue, as the worst case is confiscation by US customs with no recourse.
  16. Jeff, I've been mulling over your dilemma for the past few days and my considered opinion is that you should ditch both the SD and Breitling and get the new AP Diver with the sapphire caseback, on a bracelet.
  17. Led Zeppelin -- Physical Graffiti (Remastered)
  18. That one is 46mm, which is too big for me but probably suits a manly man like Jeff rather splendidly. There's a 42mm version too, which moves the date window to three o' clock. I definitely agree that it is one of the best watches they make from a design perspective. The lugs are long -- similar to the Nomos style -- which tends to be polarizing in terms of wearability, so best to try on the wrist to see how it feels to you.
  19. Second go and yes, it's mostly (very) good beyond the pure production values. What a great, analog sounding album!
  20. Pixies -- Doolittle (MFSL vinyl needledrop)
  21. Prosper.
