Simplify Media
Shhh! I still can't connect to you. My guess is UPnP is off on your router? Anyway, I've had no buffering issues playing from other libraries. I'm uploading a backup to Mozy right now, so maybe that is causing bandwidth problems on my end. Did you try it out on your home Mac yet? My sense is the Windows version is still very rough.

Ipod Touch / Iphone
Yes. But only on the device. Tethering is verboten.

Yeah, you need a tasty pastry after that. Bracing!

I'm afraid to ask what you're planning.

Think I'm going to keep my cash in my wallet for a bit given the recent uptick in catastrophic meltdownity. Plus I need to decorate the new house. Do you like it? And where's Aerius with the ha-ha?

Simplify Media
They are. Since the app ties into iTunes, I am not sure how it would handle FLAC, though, and haven't had a chance to try. PM me if you want to experiment.

Enigma Audio Apex Headphone and Interconnect Cables
I like the final color scheme, Zach. Glad you dropped the red elements on the HF cable.

There's something wrong in Colorado...
I think you're misreading. That post came at the end of an exchange about amp designers who are actually worthy of admiration. Mikhail wasn't on it and no one was defending his ludicrous business practices.

Simplify Media
Well I got Simplify working again, but had a chance to play with Mojo in the interim and it's just a much, much, much (did I mention much, much, much) better app for Mac users. And not only because it incorporates, shall we say, additional functionality alongside simple streaming from remote libraries. My friend is running the Windows Beta version on XP and hasn't had any problems with that so far, so MS users aren't shut out. Anyway, it's well worth checking out.

Does anyone here know how to make custom boxes?
That reference doesn't fly over here, where the first thought would be something like: I'm not even touching "fairy liquid".

Best way to do dual OS on MAC
Fuck you. It's moist and chewy, like cake, and amoebas can blog with it.

Best way to do dual OS on MAC
Yeah, I just meant you have to reboot into the other OS, which is a pain if you do it a lot. But if you use Windows that infrequently then Boot Camp will be fine.

Best way to do dual OS on MAC
Boot camp works fine as long as you don't mind having to boot into either OS exclusively. If you primarily work in OS X and just want to run the occasional Windows app, then go for Parallels or Fusion. Both work very well. Fusion offers a 30-day free trial, which is nice.

Ipod Touch / Iphone
The Cirrus chip is apparently in the new Nano as well. It was first used in the 6G iPod Classic, where it was not always well received. The first-gen iPod Touch had the Wolfson WM8758BG.
