I got a prompt this morning to update to the latest version, which promised to be less of a resource hog. After doing so, the app is horribly squirrelly. Getting constant connection requests and it keeps trying to rebuild the song lists -- pegging my processors in the, um, process. Anyone else having trouble?

Is there a better place to pick up used cds than Amazon Marketplace? I'm currently paying dearly for a few years of flirting with compressed files.

Speaking of getting wood...

Just got the 2.1 FW on my iPhone and it's running like buttah. No more app launch lag, no more keyboard lag, back up is zoomy. If it really does also bring better cell network performance and a big boost in battery life, as promised, then this is a hell of an upgrade to an already nice package. Kind of like discovering your hot girlfriend has always secretly wanted to try anal. Or something.

First impression, it's slick. Better form factor, very thin and light, screen is bright and sharp. Other than that, it sounds like an iPod.

Yeah, that's annoying. There must be a way to edit the metadata to collapse those to a single listing of your choice. Sure some bright spark will figure it out within 48 hours.

Really loving iTunes 8 grid view. Be interested to hear how well it deals with a really big library, though.

Yeah, I like this Nano a lot better than the last one. But I'm genetically biased to favor long and thin.

Throwing in the Nike+ functionality out of the box is nice if you run.

Also have volume control and a mike (!) on the cable. VOIP anyone?
