Okay cool. I might be bringing Allison, Dan, and Dan's wife Annika, depending.

Just found out today that Allison has a work-related dinner at 5:30 that night, and I was invited to accompany her. The restaurant is downtown, about 2 miles south of Lincoln Park. I'm hoping I can get out of there by 7:30 or 8 and can meet up after.

Stafford finally finding the end zone after I was fully prepared to move him to the trade block. Best case, I go 3-0 and 2-1. Worst case is 2-1 and 2-1. So not too much to complain about so far, but... Bad things - Vincent Jackson and Brandon Lafell combining for 6 points. Spiller unloading for 13 points within the first 12 minutes and then getting injured. Eagles D/ST looking pretty horrible. I guess Arizona is for real.

I wouldn't be so sure Nate. I will need to get lucky with Demaryius Thomas tonight. Pretty miserable performances for me this week. Hernandez' injury netted me 0 on both teams. In the 8-team league, Marshall and McFadden combined didn't even get to double digits and I left 73 points on my bench. The only bright spot was starting CJ Spiller and feeling pretty okay about starting him next week with Forte likely to be out.

So, week 1. Matt Forte looked good, though he is definitely going to be limited by Michael Bush. Sonofabitch. The Julio Jones/Brandon Marshall combo in our 8 team league was pretty fun. Holy fuck starting the Bills D/ST is the absolute worst call I've ever made in 3 years of fantasy football. Matthew Stafford throwing three picks against an utterly horrid team was pretty terrifying. Aaron Hernandez should probably be my flex play next week in the 10 team league, I messed up by not having him in this week even though Nate Washington was okay. So some good, some bad. Can the Bengals help me beat Haj tonight? I'm not counting on it but you never know.
