Aura

Work is weird right now since I'm at the very end of my current role. Last week was absurdly busy but I find myself with much more free time now. So today I worked remotely and ended up cleaning for 3-4 hours in preparation for an early family Christmas dinner we're hosting on Saturday night. I'm totally Allison's housewife. On a related note, I completely loathe washing glossy hardwood floors. Swiffer a section, get on my knees and wipe dry with a towel (this should be easy, Steve). Repeat 30 times.

Looks pretty likely that Jeff and I will split our doubleheader. Seattle D/ST has been that mountain waiting to erupt ever since they dominated the Packers in the hail mary game.

Damn. One of the rare jazz guys I could listen to at any time. No mood required. RIP.

Well I sure had a birthday worth remembering. In only four hours we covered the majority of the stuff we wanted to do at Pike's Place Market. That was followed by one really amazing beer store and one really amazing Belgian-inspired beer bar. Thanks everyone, as always. I'm undeserving of such good friends so I'll just shut up and be grateful.

Haha, Akira is actually the only Anime I've ever liked. I first saw the film back in high school but never owned it. I don't think I mentioned it to Allison until very recently but she had never heard of it. Either way, there's plenty more about me that should have made Allison run for the hills. I'm dumbfounded by my luck.

Got setup for re-shipping from Al. Thanks Mikey and Greg for the additional offers though. Our Cali friends sure are gracious. This shit is expensive but Fifty Fifty only sends Eclipse variants to one of the best-known stores here in Chicago, and it sells out very quickly. I figure if I can stay under ~$30/bottle, this is probably worth it. Opening an Old Fitzgerald first.

Reposting here for visibility. I forgot to ask, is anyone going to Fifty Fifty for pick-ups? If not, anyone willing to receive my shipment and send to me in IL? According to our invoices, we have until this Saturday to get in touch with FiftyFifty and confirm shipping/pickup changes.
