  2. fucking awesome.
  3. With regard to "computer connectivity," I have one of these: Turtle Beach External USB Sound Card with Surround Sound It isn't audiophile grade (hmmm) but it provides reasonable 7.1 and 5.1 output. It also supports optical digital output (via connector similar to those on a macbook).
  4. ^^^ That's good work there; but don't get cocky, kid. ;./
  5. HBD Dr. Gilmore.
  6. Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and The Children of Hurin are finally available in (licensed!) ebook form! I got mine from eReader.com. My currently reading status must -always- include these. Still on fourth book of Dark Tower series--haven't touched it for a few weeks though.

  8. I did not know that. This comforts me. Today, for some reason Max would not properly convert my AIFF files to ALAC. The resultant AIFFs were roughly about 1/3 larger than the original AIFFs and were not listenable. I reinstalled Max and check settings for my workflow. Tried several things with no joy until I up dragged the AIFFs into iTunes, then converting them to ALAC worked fine. Fucking software.

Scofield is fucking great. Do you have his Bar Talk album? He released it in the early 80s. I don't think its on CD though.

I realize we're getting close to can-jam; but several locals not attending the big meet wanted this (the last one was held July 5, '08 ). This one will be somewhat closer to city then last couple meets. Trav got us a very nice deal on a big room; he paid out of his pocket. I've talked to him several times over the phone and he seems okay. Head-Fi Thread What: Atlanta Head-Fi Meet When: Saturday, April 25, 2009 Time: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM ET Where: Atlanta Marriott Century Center 2000 Century Boulevard NE Atlanta, GA 30345 (404) 325-0000

I'm not sure what to make of the line, "He hates that name." Pseudo-Caprica's look in response, then Pseudo-Baltar's contrite reply. I enjoyed that 15 second exchange. What do y'all think it means?
