  1. My cohorts and I have invented a way to suspend a "super" conductor inside special vacuum-sealed shielding WITHOUT any loss from dielectric interference and (get ready for this) ANY resistance. I know your thinking "too good to be true" but it isn't! Our "super" wire uses 100% solid stranded niobium and titanium superconducting alloy that is continuously cryogenically treated at near absolute zero to ensure absolutely NO RESISTANCE!!!! If you wish, you can also install one of our patent-pending Josephson junctions to make one source passively feed as many devices as necessary with absolutely NO LOSS! Once you have one of our cables connected to your terminals, never again will it be questioned what exactly is lost in tow from your precious iPod or other audio equipments outdated connections. Together with my "super" friends, SARC industries have been created to exclusively sell the entire line of lineout docks, headphone cables, and protection. Products include the Mr. Freeze iPod dock, Frosty the Snowman RCA cables, Yeti XLR, and last but certainly not least, the Frostbite headphone cable line. Once you stick your headphones on your head with these works of physics and art, we promise that you will forever dread the moment you must remove them. Visit us now and rest assured that your audio equipment will never need another cable ever again. WARNING: SARC Industries not responsible for any condensation damage on non-SARC products or accessories.
  2. Not surprising news that you've stepped up past portable, but good news nonetheless. I have also once broken my portable rig because it was made of poop.

  5. It probably is a good thing for everyone except that it completely changes the companies image. Just because I don't like their image anymore though isn't going to affect the huge amounts of attention grabbing ability and R&D efforts by Logitech. A product like this is more likely to make Logitech produce better products and not lower the quality of the original I sincerely hope. As for customer service... more customers and cheaper product = fail. Don't expect such understanding from the other side of the line anymore, they were actually above and beyond generous before in my experiences.
  6. Right now, only the Godfather. I read The Prince by Machiavelli and before that I read The Rum Diaries. Plan to start on Palahniuk's Snuff as soon as I get ready to grab a copy. Also waiting for Pygmy to be released...
  7. It looks a little too much like a dirt bike. If I didn't have the occupation I did (Middle School Teacher), I probably wouldn't be as concerned, but a lot of people I think have stereotypes about those motorcycles that I don't want being applied to me working with children (irresponsible and cheap, although the latter is a little bit applicable). Maybe there are more assholes driving where I live, I wouldn't be surprised. The bike I'm getting is a little bit more maneuverable then the average cruiser because its only two-thirds the normal weight and is not as wide, it also gets 60 mpg and has a smooth power band. I like the extra weight a little because I don't want to get so blown around by all the SUVs and trucks on the road. I think a sport bike would be what I would get for more maneuverability, but I don't like how cramped I would be or the looks of my not so tiny frame on them. Look at any of the horrendous videos of motorcycle accidents on Youtube and then look at the comments and amount of views. Many people today thrive off of another persons misfortune it seems, I have no doubt that many will not have any sympathy for me if/when I wreck. I can live with that.
  8. Both you and Nate have nice bikes. I don't think I would be happy to handle a sport bike myself often, especially not for a longer commute, but they look like an awesome alternative for canned adrenaline. You mean the one connecting to the saddle? I also think that other drivers are usually looking for cars missing the motorcycle near them or don't often make the connection that someone on the motorcycle is going to die when they don't follow laws or are your general offensive driving asshole.
  9. I heard the postal workers are having trouble delivering iPods too.
  10. I saw Tyll's bike here too, its really nice. However, I really hope that amazing array of great gadgetry on his dash doesn't distract him and leave him the same color as his bike.
  11. I'm planning on getting a motor bike in the spring. I haven't driven anything larger then a 250cc dirt bike. By now, its blatantly obvious that motorcycles are extremely dangerous and I should start planning now for my impending crash. The plan right now is to get a Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD cruiser in the spring after taking the MSF course and buying safety gear; CE certified padded over pants, leather jacket, riding boots, gloves and no doubt a nice full face helmet. I really am impressed by this bike. Fairly lightweight, good handling, comfort, can handle my size and weight even on the freeway, decent fuel economy, style, price is right; I think its about the perfect bike for what I want which is something for all the short trips that is not going to be too too much for me to handle while saving gas over my huge F-150 extended cab truck. Anyone else have a motorcycle or have plans?

  13. Wishing you the best and many more. Happy birthday.
  14. Beta blockers... ugh. My girlfriend suffers from neurocardiogenic syncopy (brain doesn't properly regulate heart) who has to take them. It really messes with you in the long run and can lead to psychosis. Your pain tolerance is decreased (partially blocks chemicals that regulate pain receptors) and it does lead to storing more fat. While not so bad for a short term medication, its effects are not well understood in the long run. Best of luck.
  15. Other then some really great molasses tobacco in a hookah when at a friends, I don't smoke. Romman sweet melon, romman double apple, nahkla mint, and a few other random flavors at times. It releases me to the max, but I like that the hookah takes time to set up and clean and helps keep it from becoming an oral fixation and more like something you do socially or relaxing with free time to burn.

  17. Anything endangered or protected really. Toucans, Bald Eagles, Koala bears, Pandas, White Tigers, etc. I just always look at them and go wonder what that tastes like. (Animated toucans always telling me taste the rainbow, makes me think about eating them more)

  20. Sometimes splurges can be helpful as long as they are reasonable, as long as its reasonable, for example once or twice and you can keep it from constantly tempting you throughout the week. Sometimes eating "dirty", for example once a week, to shock the metabolism to keep it out of starvation mode if it starts to drop is actually common. The problem is when you give up on exercising and start slowly sliding back into old habits. Its a lifetime commitment and has to be if you don't want to backslide. This is one of the main reasons why drugs are not a good alternative for weight-loss, not healthy and pretty much a guaranteed back-slide once you obtain your goal and have to quit them. Those complex carbs from things such as whole wheat (hard to tell if its grain or just processed wheat often times) are much better then the simple carbs that just go straight into typically unused energy with little calories burned to process them. Fish and vegetables are great diet suppliments (as long as your not pregnant and can get them fresh to avoid the enormous amount of sodium) because of that fish oil providing healthy fat and all of the great suppliments in vegetables, plus they really do taste great IMO. I also would recommend something like yoplait lite yogurt and "fiber one" cereal mixed together for breakfast which will provide most of the fiber you need daily and also tastes much better then expected (good actually). Staying away from the dark meats is good advice, you also can find some extremely lean ground beef in most stores. Keeping with chicken or fish helps me with my constant weight struggle. Its really easy just to say its not worth it, but the ease of mind and good feelings you can get from a healthy diet and exercise is priceless for me. Also would recommend you don't buy clothes which are too small or exercise gear pretending that the money wasted will give you motivation. Often, it just makes you more self-concious and your plan suffers. I hate my cravings for comfort foods and urge to use my time for things I consider more important then exercise or going out of my way for healthier food. I still can't do straight egg whites or avoid eating out with my life style. Chick-fil-a has the healthiest grilled chicken sandwich ever possibly.
  21. Everyone is right here, its not healthy to have less then 1200 at minimum as an adult male sedentary or not. It kills your metabolism and you just store fat and dissolve your muscle. I'm also not sure you all are doing calorie counting correctly. Its not just calories, but what type and other factors. (saturated fat, fat, protein, carbs, sodium, fiber) Getting the right ratio is just as important as how much you eat, don't want you digesting your muscles or organs to get what your body needs. Sometimes when you slow down, its better to actually eat MORE calories as you've gone too low and your metabolism has matched your calorie intake. Exercise is what keeps it up, so you absolutely must include it, sorry it doesn't work any other way IMO. Water should be your best friend, drink as much as you can comfortably handle (cut back if you get headaches or can't make it to the bathroom). It burns calories for your body to process the water, staves off hunger, plus helps with a healthy appearance. Getting too many carbs in your diet and not enough protein causes your hunger to quickly return as well. I've lost over 100 pounds before and can tell you that its not healthy to continuously lose more then two pounds a week for your body. Those recommended diets at checkout counters, either don't work or cause irreversable damage often times. My best advice is to go visit that nutritionalist, many areas even will provide cheap/free services.
  22. Sir, may I introduce you to some friends?
  23. I already defiantly regret ignoring my last massage. That was not the "happy ending" I expected.
