  1. They are coming to Baltimore and tix are fairly reasonable. I'd love to go but my wife has the Marine Corps 10 Miler the next morning so I don't think it's meant to be.
  2. Happy Birthday!!!
  3. ^ Slick looking Personally I like soft cases but that thing looks sweet.
  4. Thanks Much less confused now
  5. ASR, glad to see you were as impressed as I was. I almost kept my stats rig because of them.
  6. Hinckley car? The only Hinckley I know makes yachts.
  7. Got up and decided that I would man-up and do the local bike store ride though my average speed on most of my rides was below their stated goal. Then proceeded to get whupped by everyone (all of who were admittedly much fitter than my lard ass) and still managed to enjoy 3 hours of riding in 90F weather up some pretty hard hills. Finished up, showered, went to lunch, watched movie now listening to HD800s
  8. Wet dry shoes for me and my wife for our trip to the Galapagos. Before that an iBike Pro power meter for my bike
  9. No offense but was it a "starter house"? The first time home buyer credit has made that market go a bit nuts. The market is still depressed around Alexandria as best I can tell, I think Jumbos are still hard to get a hold of.
  10. Dusty, I have anti strain eyeglasses so not advice other than that. That said I look away enough I rarely ever break them out.
  11. Sorry you didn't get the one you want dude. In this market no one should be paying more than asking I would think regardless of location.
  12. Oh that makes the price seem a lot more reasonable
  13. Damn..... nice find!
  14. In all seriousness. How is your leg? Improving I hope.
  15. Wow! Gramps can use the internet to find stuff out
  16. Dan that was a mistype. I meant "one of your two". Thanks a ton buddy
  17. Dentist (See above) .... Worked... came home to find my "repaired" AC unit with a new power cable that was at least 1.5ft too long and huge, wrapped around on the ground with zip ties and installed with my garden hose tangled with it (The previous cord was not up to code so I asked him to replace it since his company did the install of the units). Disconnected said power cord and trimmed to right length and re-installed. Fucking technicians. Figured this was a bad sign so I went down and checked on the unit in the basement that he had worked on and replaced the drainage pipe (PVC, replaced because he broke it) to discover the PVC pipe was not glued but just pushed together and hence was leaking slowly all over my AC unit. Applied plumbers tape and fixed for now. FUCKING TECHNICIANS!!! To add an extra kick to the nuts my lanscaper has been a no show for 3 days. I guess no hot tub this weekend. FUCK!
  18. Or send to me and I'll get you graphs I can do waterfall etc...
  19. Very Cool! Any chance of borrowing one or your two once you have both?
  20. The fact the guy's website is sponsored (owned?) by microsoft makes me wonder all the more. Mach es machbar - mit Microsoft Office Project 2007 Looks like some sweet viral advertising to engineers. Has the guy doing tests for his coefficient of friction and a wind anemometer to make sure the wind speed was zero at the ramp and a test dummy lying around (without wetsuit though). The biggest thing that makes me want to call shenanigans is the fact that he curls up into a ball in the video just before entering a 24-36" pool of water on what appears to be a wooden stand he should break some bones because his downward velocity should be significant (at least equal to his upward velocity at the the tip of the ramp unless the apogee is very near where he lands, but it doesn't look like it) I dunno though maybe he just has brass balls and I watched some pretty crazy crap on the X-Games.
  21. Something about that just screams bullshit. At the same time it's well done bullshit.
  22. Without the DEQ I prefer them to the HD650s yes. With the DEQ that no longer holds. SA5k were my favorite above the D5000s then I switched to Qualias. Though after correction I could make them all sound the same so I kept the 650's because they were the cheapest and listen to the HD800s uncorrected and corrected most of the time. For the record too I sold my KGSS, Omega 2 mk1 for the same reason. Note though that the beta22 comparison was done mostly with HD650s because they were supposed to be the most demanding to power of the phones I owned at the time.
