The Sinn Hydro stuff is pretty cool and a lot cheaper. You probably knew that already though.
  6. Still on crutches most of the time but to the point where I can hobble around a bit. On top of that I have eaten like a pig for 4 days. Getting significantly fatter. Just stepped on the scale and I have gained 50lbs (or almost 30%) since just before Thanksgiving 2013. Maybe that realization is going to be enough to encourage me to relearn some self control. Feeling like a failure right now between the weight gain and not being able to help much with the kids.

  10. Merry Christmas all! You guys and gals are amazing friends and I feel blessed to know you all.
  11. I believe someone here has a TerraTrike.
  12. Thanks everyone. This pales in comparison to the other bad stuff going on around here. Definitely already improving. Hope to stop being a total invalid tomorrow and be able to help my wife with the kids. Off topic but related: it is funny how having kids changes you: All I could imagine as I was hitting the ground was a car running me over and leaving my poor wife to deal with 3 kids. The me being dead part seemingly wasn't my concern.
  13. Makes sense. The views are great on the ride other than when I crashed to earth
  14. The ruling is soft tissue bruising Phew! May be able to walk in a few days.
  15. Thank you guys for the concern. At home waiting on the results of the xray but right now I can't walk without crutches. Fingers crossed its just really bad deep tissue bruising. Doctor only gave me 6 days of pain meds so maybe that means if there is no fracture the recovery will be swift. Just thankful that Jorgen was there to help and a bunch of people stopped and offered assistance.
  16. Went down hard on the ride this morning. Totally my fault as i chose a bad line on a simple corner. Made my father in law wipe out too though he was unscathed other than a cracked helmet. Getting xrays now to see if I cracked my hip. Pretty epic road rash too. Feel like an idiot.
  17. ? Not sure I follow. That reads as a comment on the pace and because you are not a native speaker I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt...
  18. http://app.strava.com/activities/231921789 Second ride after 2 months off the bike. Going faster than I expected but getting stiff from the rough roads. Edit: After trying 5 different things I can't figure out a good way to post Strava rides...
  19. Good luck with it all Larry. Sorry that this happened.
  20. Pictures on stands? Very nice speakers.
  21. Happy birthday!
  22. Good luck with getting back on the bike. I am in Barbados for Christmas and got my old aluminum bike out and ready for a first ride of the trip tomorrow. It will be slow but it will be nice to get out. I'm not going to worry too much about cycling fitness until the spring after work gets less insane. Of course our third child is due in February so that may be spring 2016...
  23. x2 on Both of those Larry
  24. Sorry Larry. Fingers crossed for you and your daughter that the recovery is smooth.
