I was planning on using it to extend my wifi. If it doesn't help with that then I probably should cancel my order.

I just bought the AirPort Express for $60 and an AirPort Base Station for $106 from them. Now I need to buy a new cable modem.

I like it so far. I would go back at lunch today to have one installed on my iPad if I didn't have to go to the airport to pick up Jp. It's not quite as smooth as the screen without the shield but it works for me. I carry a 9mm because I'm cheap and don't reload so shooting at the range can get pricey with a 45.

I would consider it if I were having a problem. So far no issue. Hopefully that will continue. Since I added the Zagg shield and my bumper has not arrived, I'm going without a case. I will make some calls today to test whether the reception issue is an issue for me. In the end the X will be an F. For me at least, the iPhone as a video device is secondary to it's use as a phone, email device. If I want video, I have an iPad for that. The little extra real estate on the Evo and the X, would not cause me to watch more video on my phone but would add some size and heft to the phone that I typically keep in my shirt pocket.

I've only had my phone for about 36 hours but so far I think the phone reception is better than my 3GS, even when I hold it in the dreaded death grip. The proximity sensor seems to be working fine for me. The screen shuts down when the phone is within an inch of my face. I also waited on line yesterday for about 5 minutes yesterday afternoon for the phone. I guess I am just lucky.

I'm giving it time dry so I don't know yet.

Just returned from Best Buy where I had a Zagg front and back invisible shield installed for $8 (plus cost of shield).

x2 on the laughing my ass off. Got lucky and they had a 32 gb available.

Of course I could have but what fun is that? Actually, I am not cancelling my order. I did this when they released the 3GS and ended up with an extra phone with no contract attached that I ended up giving to my wife.

I wanted a 32 gb but have one on order with ATT so I can switch down the road, if needed.

Just drove by an ATT store, walked in and came out with a reservation for a 16GB for pick up at 3:00 pm today.

Fortunately, I have my iPad with iteleport so I was able to access my mini at home (I love the iPad). It was the last model before the recent upgrade but the lower model: 2 Ghz Core 2 Duo 1 GB RAM (I know, should have more) 120 GB hard drive (says 111.47 GB, so I assume 120 GB)

Parallels is just about non functional with 2 GB on my MacBook (first aluminum version). I'm considering selling my mini and picking up the new one to use for HT in my music room.

I will make bread, the solid form of beer. A man can dream.

Got one of these for Fathers Day: I'm hoping I get an Easy Bake oven for my birthday.

Burrito from Burrito Brothers in Gainesville.

Just finished building my daughters bed and chest of drawers from Ikea at her house in Gainesville. Waiting for Gail and Britt to return with some shelves for me to install while I watch the World Cup and drink the bottle of Humidor Series IPA cooling in the fridge. I think tonight I will sit out back with my PM9 and wait for raccoons.

Nice Al. Just picked 6 bottles of CCB Humidor Series IPA, which won a Gold Medal at the Great American Beer Fest '10. Also picked up 2 bottles of Willett Bourbon. If anyone wants any, let me know. It was under $50 a bottle. I think there is one or two bottles left. They also had Laphroaig 21 for $199, regularly $400 and some other whiskey from the people that make Willett.

Vicki, the sell the Sprecher soda here in Gainesvilee at my favorite coffee shop for $2.50/bottle. I can pick some up for you if you want. I leave tomorrow.

I'm looking for some TV shows to watch, ones I've never considered before, for download on my iPad. I see some talk about Doctor Who. It looks like it started in '05 (the new version). Any opinions?
