Just dl Air Video app and it works like a charm. To bad I don't have a bunch of movies on my computer.

I moved my router closer the entrance to the room it is in and raised it up higher which seems to have improved reception with the iPad. I noticed that when the wireless gets slow, I can shut down and when it's back on, the speed increases. Overall, I am please with the wireless speed now.

Dinny, no idea. I would doubt that that software could run on an iPad. That stuff is for windows and usually is proprietary but who knows. If so, I can see Court Reporters moving from their notebooks to the iPad. Stretch, when I first saw it I said that is dumb. However, for me, I would have a purpose that would make it useful to me. I would not use it other than those instances that I needed to take notes. The only issue with that would be printing but then I could just email the notes to myself.

I gave some thought to going legit but unless I pick up a 3G iPad, I will stick with the JB on my phone. The only thing I don't have that I care about is MMS, which, if I were daring enough, I could have by upgrading to 3.1.2 and then JB again. I don't want to risk it so I live without the MMS. I'm sure the multitasking will be better using 4.0 but for my purposes, using Backgrounder is good enough. I may still get the 3G and just keep the JB for now so I can multitask.

So this case: Griffin Technology: Elan Passport - Folio case for iPad. It's nice but no ability to use it as a stand which for me is a deal breaker at the moment. I'm not a gamer but wouldn't mind a game or two to try out. I was thinking of A Need for Speed. Any suggestions?

I hate the iPad. I haven't listened to my rig for more than 30 minutes since it arrived. Must stop watching movies and tv shows.

You can always file down the edges like that guy did to his macbook pro. The fixes listed sounds like a bunch of bs to me.

I will check it out this weekend. While I am not putting it in my pocket, I do carry it in my briefcase. The added bulk of the incase may be too large for my briefcase.

I may give that case a try. The angle looks steeper than the Apple case. It looks like it would be a bit more awkward for typing.

We all could have waited but that is not in our nature. I agree about the camera but none of us should be surprised that there were features left out as that is how Apple operates. Fortunately, Apple products hold their value.
