My current speakers use the Neo3, sound fantastic... got them for a steal too. Talked to the designer and apparently a new model is coming out soon. Acculine Owners Thread - AVS Forum Too bad I can't take these beauties to school with me. If I can come up with something cheaper than the Monsoon speakers I might be looking at a build (have a t amp coming anyway). The floor space of the Monsoons are pretty fantastic though.

Source that one? I would hate a textbook on a Kindle. I don't really see potential in that. Maybe if it was included with the purchase but I like writing in my text books, even if they are just pictures to scare the next person who buys my copy.

Most headphones if properly cared for will last a damn long time. Clean out some nasty deteriorated foam and you are good to go.

Would encourage purchase of new books as well. I haven't bought a new book in ages (Amazon Marketplace is great). On second thought even if Amazon offered the Kindle version for a couple bucks on top of a marketplace purchase (one of the combined offer deals) they could make more money off marketplace sales too. For some reason I feel like they have already thought of this and decided against it... not so sure why though.

If I could buy a book and get the digital version for free I would probably be on the Kindle right away.

I would suggest he forget surround sound and take a look at the audioengine speakers if he is looking for something unobtrusive and small.
